Thanks for the info!! I agree an expensive month, and I've GOT to take a kitten to the vet for her op and the other for her jags. Will just have to give up food (probably won't do me any harm).

I've a question:
Does anyone know if there is/where I can find an archive of Richard's 'Mirror' columns?
I'm stunned, with all the talk of spam in this thread, that no one else seems to have broken into the Monty Python Spam song. I can't help myself; it'll be stuck in my head for days now because of this thread! lol

Never mind my question; I've found what I was looking for.
I've a new question though:
Are we, in America, the only ones who put bumper sticker on our cars or what?

Hiya Nathan! Surely people can put bumper stickers on their cars in England? Yeah we can have bumper stickers on cars here...you know what is the most popular here in Queensland, or what I see a lot of (would you believe), are stickers of flowers on the back window, particularly frangipani flowers...cute eh? ;D I personally don't put them on though because the heat of the sun fades them quickly and they start to look tatty...you also see other stickers like um...is it car audio system type stickers.... ;D

Off my head if they do its a bit odd and most bumpers are now colour coded so not a good result if they peel off ;D.....anyone correct me, as I live in the clouds and to be honest never looked for them

I think you're right Lew but today i shall be checking it out just in case. We're more "A Dog is for Life not for Christmas" and "My other car's a porsche" types over here - stickers in the back window for all the world to see. ;D

Bumper stickers - ooh, am I thinking something else then? Er...... bumper as in bumper of car I was thinking rather than rear window. Edit: Nope I was right. We don't tend to put stickers all over our cars!!! We'd probably get told off by the H & S brigade. ;D We also are a bit anal about the paint work.

Okay yeah, I s'pose though we have stickers mainly on our rear windows...not usually on paintwork... This is an example...I guess mainly ladies cars...er perhaps...not meaning to generalise/stereotype or nuffink ;D As we are subtropical...its a Queensland thing I think...

Hmmm, this is actually quite interesting. We call them all "bumper stickers" but most people now put them on glass because it's easier to remove them from glass. Political bumper stickers are the most popular here; I've got one on my back window. It needs to go since my candidate is no longer in the race, but I like it because it makes it easy to identify my car. I was hoping there would be some kind of TG related bumper stickers somewhere, like "I am the Stig" or even "Captain Slow Wannabe."

I reckon "I am The Stig" stickers would sell well among the TG bloke fraternity. How about "Captain Slow Fangirl" car stickers to go with the Wannabe ones? You never know. Nathan, you could start a craze....
I too have had the Monty Python Spam song in my head while reading this, and indeed when I saw James "cook" with the dreaded stuff on the Wine Adventure. What a polite French lady, by the way - she didn't bat an eyelid when told it was a delicacy reserved for special occasions!
But I must say...... YEUCH!!!!!!! It's shocking stuff. School dinners spring to mind. Every Wednesday fortnight - Spam Fritters!!!! And I've never touched the stuff since, and to be honest I didn't touch it much then. Ah well, each to his own....
Nobody seems to have mentioned "pies" as being part of James's staple diet, or did I miss it? Apart fom his fish pie, of course. I think traditional British food rates very highly, simply because it's British. Or better still, English. Even if he should be on the Bratwurst and Sauerkraut! ;D

Hello all, This is going to sound a bit random, but does anybody know what color James' Fiat Panda is? I was just wondering... And whilst I am at it, does anybody know what James' favorite color is? I must be in a colorful mood today... :)xX~LPS~Xx

Hello Devonsdarling, Oops! He is probably expecting us to start a new thread for every item of clothing he has! But that shirt is lovely. At least now we know that he cares about what his fans think enough to read some of the things we have all wrote about him. This reminds me of Disturbia. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUUA5xD8dJ8 *Stars to sing* Sorry I have been listening to that song all day. :)xX~LPS~Xx

Hello all, I have another question, if you go on to the general board and look down the left hand edge there are little folders next to each thread, right, I was wondering why some of the are on fire and others aren't. I bet it is something really obvious, but I can't see it all the same. ;D :)xX~LPS~Xx

those on fire are populair and have a lot of pages. The one not on fire don't have that many pages or are not viewed that much.
I hope I'm right
