I'm watching the coverage of our election from back in May - but it's the Channel 4 coverage, so it's four hours of Jimmy Carr, David Mitchell, Charlie Brooker and Lauren Laverne swearing a lot about politics ;D
I did watch it at the time, but I was working on an assignment for Stavros the Incomprehensible at the time (which, so it turns out, I did quite well on ;D) and as I can't find anything I want to watch on telly tonight and I don't really have time to start ploughing through my Peep Show DVDs, I'm very much enjoying it!

David Mitchell swearing! I'd watch that, too. (Wish we had entertaining coverage like that of OUR elections...)

I know I'm massively childish, but I love that Jimmy Carr somehow manages to get away with using the Worst Word in the World on live television. Never fails to make me smile.
Yes, I am eight ;D

Speaking of being eight (or maybe twelve, LOL)... I'm watching some cricket commentators carry on about the correct pronunciation of "Punjab" (yeah, at 2am my time, I'm hoping the Indian Professional Twenty20 league sends me to sleep. If it doesn't, I'll probably be on the "adultery" thread... ;D

Have just watched the first episode of "Sherlock". How good was that! I was absolutely mesmerised from start to finish. Perfect casting and astonishing performances. The best thing for ages!
(I think you can tell that I liked it.)

I'm watching The Day Today. I picked up the DVDs of that and Brass Eye recently and I'm going to go on a Chris Morris binge. I'd forgotten how brilliant this is ;D

Having finished The Day Today, I'm now watching Brass Eye. My admiration for Chris Morris is growing beyond recognition! He's funny, clever, incredibly sharp and looks fabulous in drag. It's remarkable just how much influence these two shows (and their radio forerunner) have had on comedy, and particularly satire, over the last couple of decades. Sometimes cruel, but always brilliant!

Just downloaded The Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2009. Love it! But answer me this, who the hell is Peter Andre and why does the crowd go nuts just at the mention of his name?? He didn't seem like much to me.

Well, there is the proof that humour is very subjective. That made me go "meh, WTF " and yet Shooting Stars has me p**ing my pants ;D ;D

The bit I love the absolute most is when he's introduced to the robot that can recognise things ("Mini Cooper"). It holds out its hand to him, and he holds its hand as he's talking to it and about it, as if it was a child. It's just such as instinctive thing to do, he does it without thinking and it's so gentle and sweet.

Inside Killer Sharks is such fun. I found myself rather envious of his SCUBA instructor on that veranda overlooking a tropical beach in the evening... *floats away*...

*floats away with violetrose...* Oh James! Help us! We're stranded at sea! Don your wetsuit and carry us ashore!
Yesterday I went to a friends, and was looking through their familys DVD collection (like the nosey b*ugger I am ;D) and noticed that her dad owned Toys Stories AND Big Ideas! She promised to lend me Toy Stories ages ago, and I had the chance to steal borrow Big Ideas as well! She did lend them to me, I can't imagine why she thinks I want them xD But anyway, I watched Big Ideas today... "Grandpa!" ;D

How lucky that you could borrow those DVDs, Sophie. "Asimo? Grandpa!" "...Grandpa. ..Ok!" *squeeee* Oh look at me. I am getting all hormonal over a man and his droid. *is a saddo*

From previous evidence, do we think his droid is short and squat like R2-D2, or long and slim like C-3PO?
(I think I'd be more comfortable in the Naughty Corner....)

We've all seen your posts in the NC! ;D Dit, I'm thinking that his droid would be a lovely combination of the two, R2-D2 and C-3P0! ;D Best of both worlds! ;D ;D OK, I'm off to The Naughty Corner now! ;D ;D
