Certainly is a brilliant shot. I tried tonight but the moon kept hiding behind clouds. I got one but I got more fence that moon. Wish I lived in Australia too.

It's been really rainy here (very unusual) and I haven't seen the moon much, much less heard the sea.

Here's mine from last night. Moon over South East London after heavy rain and much cloud. Not anywhere near as good as Eclairs.

Great pic Ly, London Moon....arooo! Okay here's some more but until I invest in a decent camera that'll be all for now... They come out so blurry...its embarrassing I am definitely looking into a camera with more definition.... This is the moon in front of Q1, tall building in Surfers Paradise, one of the tallest in the world.... This is the moon over Coolangatta, the southernest part of the Queensland, southern Gold Coast...

Lovely. A clear white moon. You see, your air quality must be better as ours here is a bit on the yellow side. ;D Gold Coast looks very happening.

May 5th is New Moon in Taurus & May 19th is Full Moon in Scorpio. Dont know what that means for you lot but for me it means new beginnings (investment makings look good) & good time to check my finances.

It is a full moon tonight, though technically it was last night. I saw a huge moon hanging over the city as a drove home last night. Didn't have my camera on me though.

Yes Puss I took some pics of it on Mon night but they are mostly crap. A keen photographer at work told me I need a camera with a long focal lens or something and a tripod to take good pics of the moon . Am going to do some full moon spells.

It's a full moon tomorrow. Known as a Strawberry Moon. "The Algonquin tribes knew this Moon as a time to gather ripening strawberries. It is also known as the Rose Moon and the Hot Moon."

In the southern hemsiphere, where it is currently winter, I like to think of it as the "Red Wine Gathering Moon" hence my trip to the bottle shop and return with a half dozen ripe reds tonight. ;D

Given the conversation last night, I think it might be the 'Boiler Breaking Moon' I lke the idea of a red wine moon. I like that idea very, very much.

I think we underestimate the moon. I work in a dentist office and the number of toothaches rises sharply during a full moon. I've also heard that hospitals report more accidents and births. When I was expecting, my doctor said that it would be at least 3 weeks until the baby was born. My husband (who fishes and hunts and watches moon cycles) said it would be that same week and it was.

Well the moon affects the tides, and as we are mainly water it's bound to do the same to us.
