Someone asked for his pasta recipe and James has replied. ;D Here it is then: Cheesy pasta for 2 Ingredients: 2 big handfulls of pasta tubes, grated mousetrap cheddar, knob of butter twice the size of a matchbox, approx 1 heaped tblspn plain flour, full fat milk, bits of bacon. Method: Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the four gradually until you get a goo. Cook this for a minute or two. Put the pasta on to boil at about this time. Add the milk gradually to the goo, stirring constantly. Dont put the heat on too high. When all the milk is in and bubbling a bit add the cheese, with more stirring. Strain the pasta, rinse it with boiling water, add it to the cheesy sauce, serve. Frying scraps of bacon in a pan and adding them, with the fatty juices, to the cheesy sauce improves all of this hugely. LOL - bless him. One to add to the recipe thread then...James May's Cheesy Pasta for Two... ;D

Someone asked for his pasta recipe and James has replied. And that someone was me! James certainly does know how to excite a woman. In several different ways.

Aah, someone was bound to ask for the recipe sooner or later! Just the luck of the draw. I love to cook so this will definitely be on my to-do-list. Cheese and pasta - two of my favourite things As a side note: James has also commented on an older column this morning. Perhaps he has been busy and finally has a chance to catch up. I complain about working a 38 hour week...I dare not even think how many hours James works. www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/columnists/jamesmay/3415903/Theres-no-need-to-reinvent-the-wheel.html

That does sound yummy, but I'd have to improvise since I have high cholesterol. Like I posted there, I'd love to try it for pot luck dinners. Congratulations, Aaurora and Astolmaid.

I know he's got big hands - well, you can tell just by looking - but I use five of my fistfuls for the two of us and that's about 4 ounces. So by my calculations it was a massive portion for one - and what a faff if it's just yourself; a normal portion and a mingy one for two; or his hands are really the size of shovels!

Oh just a comment on the DT......blimey not a way to have a relaxing pint without wondering if someone is clocking your every movement...... That sucks. Especially when they're trying to relax and enjoy the best thing in the world - a pint. EDIT - I think I know who you're talking about. I just checked DT. That's horrible to be under constant watch and not have any privacy. I just hope it doesn't go any further or this person leaves him alone. He doesn't deserve this.

That is conduct above and beyond. I read the short ones and only when I recognise a name do I venture into something with more than 5 lines!

Lew, is that comment now gone, because I don't notice anything incriminating. I admit to reading a lot of the comments (but I do skip over the squee and unbridled lust) and I rather enjoy Fat Banker and Fusker's comments very much.
