Isn't he supposed to be alllll busy in Ireland with MPH? If so that's lovely of him to give us more culinary advice whilst being so busy! They probably had the morning off. Good for them. Their schedule for the next three days looks grueling. They are doing four (!) 80 minutes shows tomorrow and another three on Sunday.

FABULOUS!!
And we'll never be able to afford to get them back again. Why hasn't anyone suggested this before?

I think perhaps it was the fear that we *could* get them back, even if it was very expensive to do so. However, given the current credit crunch, there's no chance of affording the buyback fee ;D A plan with no drawbacks, hurrah

This is the poem which gets quoted at the end of a busy day and it could go a bit mad glad you liked it ;D I'm still absolutely charmed by James's posts, should have added that.

Thanks so much for that, Dutch. I'd like to say, at this point, James, I am very sorry I mocked you in Birmingham and took the p*ss about your manflu and handed you ineffective Lemsip when what you really needed was to be taken to bed. If you know what I mean... (also, I can't really comment on this week's column becuase, er, I have never, ever, seen a Bond movie. Not a single one)

Poor old james - t'consumption back again. Great column - very funny. ;D I can actually say I feel exactly like James does at the moment as I have t'consumption too, and it's not often I can say I feel like James May. (Well, I do feel like him but in a different way..... I'm ill... I'm going....)

I liked alot of the Sean Connery and Roger Moore ones. Poor sweety has t'consumption again. Chicken soup, honey tea, and lemom-honey cough drops will help, along with a soak in eucalyptus oil bathwater, and a nice long sleep with Vicks Vapor rub on the chest.

Hot Totty sorry meant Toddy ;D and sorry to MG ;D looking at that pic hypno the poor bloke on there can't die in peace.....probably like Jam ;D That's ok Lew, I'd be there handing out advice and giving him many hot drinks I imagine he caught it from the aeroplane trip back from LA la land and he's been busy and tired it's no wonder he hasn't got anything sooner. If James is passing this way, gargle with a couple of drops of tea tree oil in some water. tastes vile but kills all germs. And it's not bloody hippy nonsense even at the beginnings of a sore throat it does help. Bond films, I tried to watch them but I happen to flick over to something else or Singin' in the Rain. To be honest only men and some women may notice all the product placement, which is now a joke. Nice to see that James still has the urge for a Aston Martin V8 Vantage (the proper 70s one), shame he seems disheartened by berk Bond. I'll give Casino Royale a go when it's on normal TV (i did like the bonkers 60s version). I'm sure he's on the mend but he needs to take it easy, this sodding lurgy goes on forever and a month

I am so with James on this one the old films are some what dated and i think Casino Royale was the best bond to date. And he is right about the Aston Martin when you see a man in one some people might think he was trying to be bond.

So what would people think if they saw me driving one?
Apart, obviously, from "Why has that woman just driven into a tree?"

She has more money that sense But I want to drive an Aston Martin, and just enjoy it. It's James worrying about what other people think again. bless him, he was poorly when he wrote this maybe he'll have a different view next week

He does get bent out of shape when he's sick. Poor thing. I hate to see him miserable. To me, it doesn't matter what car he drives. I think he's wonderful no matter what. The V8 Aston is a beautiful car to look at though. So is the DB9. That's as far as it would go with me. Tea tree oil is great for so many things. There's no side effects, other than smelling really good and it does help you heal and feel better - from personal experience.
