Loving Fusker's use of Automagically! I agree. Have you noticed by the way that the Spell Check on this board is set on American English as well? It made me change all my programmes to programs and then I started to doubt, checked and had to change it all back again. ;D |

Cor, I don't know how he keeps the quality so high week after week. Very well-written again. Talented fellow, that Mr. May, and very adept at multi-tasking - filming a new series while writing a weekly column. I've never heard tell of him having an assistant either. Maybe he could use one though: I'd selflessly volunteer my services.
P.S. I thought he was being naughty and droll with the "dry hopping" reference, but it turns out there really is such a thing.

I agree with Lew and WCH about the way the DT comments are going. However, I've always like Hands off my Wankle's comments. They're usually funny, meant for the subject James was talking about, and well thought out too. After reading HOMW's comments about everyone's rubbish in Here Today, my respect and liking for him/her (I'm not sure and don't really care) has increased significantly. I liked the Hogwart's comment James made about brewing as well. That was funny. One of so many reasons I've always liked him so much and probably always will. I'm not sure if I dreamed it or actually wrote it last night when I posted to his new column, but I think I referred to beer at one point as "the nectar of the gods".  ;D I was really knackered yesterday and suffering from insomnia when I posted this one here. |

Also, I have to read the column again, but I'm pretty sure naughty James made a reference to dogging and the importance of clean surfaces. Must have dreamed it; I can't find it in this week's column. Ah well. |

Just purely out of linguistic interests. In Dutch, there is the phrase droog neuken, which if translated literally means dry f*cking. It refers to either having some sort of sex with your clothes on or to very dirty dancing.
That's why I had those dirty thoughts. Does it have the same connotation in English?

I just re-read the comments as well as the article. WCH, that was really cool of you to invite James and Oz to try out the beers in Belgium. Same with you, Dutch. I love Amstel. I also noticed that HOMW and several others besides me used the phrase, "nectar of the gods" to describe beer. LOL. ;D  Fusker was great there as always too.
