It's good to have a discussion like this every now and again. Everyone has a view and it's good to share. *goes to investigate the dungeon* There's not need to apologise Maureen

Evening Maureen! Thank God I only read the comments yesterday! I'm not going back to read today's especially if there's stuff about what nationality people are. I hate racism with a vengeance. I also loathe criticism of mistakes, as I've made more than clear ! That bible quote is synonymous with the proverb I like to use as a benchmark for my own behaviour - people in glasshouses ..... !

Very true. I can't stand racism either, Maibee. It closes up so many wonderful friendships a person can have.

I think the whole nationalities thing might refer to the comment that "Fusker" has American roots, cause the person posting as Fusker apparantely has been using American terms instead of British ones. So, it was a J.O.K.E. people.

Do you think the caravan could become an external dungeon? Actually, it probably too unstable and light

Do you think the caravan could become an external dungeon? Actually, it probably to unstable and light MG as long as it's sited properly, as in legs down, etc quite suitable ;D

Thanks for the clarification, Linden. No racism at all then. Just linguistics! Surprised there's not more Khayyam quoting. At first I thought by the end of the comments we'd have all 75 or more verses (depending on which site/edition/translation you get it from!) And MG, how come I read 'unstable' as 'stubble' Freudian? Wishful thinking for some light relief? Myopia? RSG? *(Repetitive Screen Gazing - term I've just invented, perhaps there's an official one!)

DD you are the better person! *hugs* Now back to this caravan, Lew you say it is quite stable. Could it house many motorcycle parts? JAmes could finally make his lute

You could stuff them under the seats and front locker, though he wouldn't have time for the lute cos of his writing ;D

All this talk of caravans and the picture I saw of James and Oz in the tent are really making me want to go camping. I've just got to dig out the tent and convince my "children" to come along.

it's a bit sad that the comments seem to have run out of hand completely on there but we can trust James's good judgment to not pay attention to jealous people and grammar ponces!

I agree wildcat, sad because all he writes is a Motor column anyway jealousy is a bad thing and I won't get myself embroiled in their pettiness, just hope it dies down Though I glad someone had the wit to put fusker on there ;D

Exactly lew, I didn't expect it to become a commenter's chat board as that's what it seems to have become people commenting about others rather than leaving a comment for James. As this is the first time I participate it's a bit daunting. Has it been like that in the past?
Fusker is a little bright point of hillarity one I really like and I hope we can count on some more contributions next week whomever fusky may be!

No it hasn't, though I've noticed too many pointless comments, far too long, off topic, or hoping for a reply type question though some of them have been OK, still I'm keeping out of it for a while, then of course I always threaten that ;D

Ah ok, that's a relief, it would be dreadful to wade across this every week... I prefer it when people stick to the topic at hand. In the end it won't be the caravan that'll blow up but the comments board!
I wonder if he'll respond to all of this in his next column, due tomorrow I presume?
Why would you keep out?
