You might want to check out this website: www.bbc.co.uk/archive/moonlandings/It has three very much extended versions of the interviews that James did with Alan Bean, Charles Duke, Harisson Schmitt, the three astronauts! They are UK-only so an upload would be much appreciated! *where did I leave that British proxy?*

Easier said than done. But saying that I'm sure if we ask Wy she might be able to do something.

One of the guys over on Final Gear said he would try to download them and put them on his FTP server.
I can't say I like the moon paintings by Alan Bean, but it is a sweet interview. (Yep, found a British proxy that is working, so I can watch them on a rather shakey Firefox connetction.)

They were raiding the Sigur Rós CD collection again I think. I'm pretty sure some of the incidental music was from (). Think I also detected some bits from Apollo by Brian Eno (I definitely heard it in something on BBC2 last night. Will have to watch TG and the Moon stuff all over again to check where Elbow got plenty of plays too.

TechZ has posted all three interviews on his FTP server. It is at maximum capacity now however, because of all the people downloading TopGear. But things should be sorted out by tomorrow. I really enjoyed the extended interviews. They probably wouldn't make good telly, but it is nice to get a bit more in depth information. These men must have had balls of steel to go up and out there.

Linden - I am with you on that one, it is certainly not something I could put myself through. Also, can you post the links to the interviews here? *sends chocolate as bribe*

As I mentioned earlier, the pilot from the moon programme has joined Final Gear! Here is a pic he posted earlier: The orginal is much bigger, but here is a download link if you want it: www.sendspace.com/file/g5r1mhUM: I can't give you the links I'm afraid. FinalGear is very strict about passwords for stuff on the FTP servers being for members only. But I'll try to sendsapce them later on. But really: you know how to get stuff from a folder on your computer? The only thing a FTP-server does is to allow you to get stuff from a folder on someone else's computer. It is the easiest thing in the world.

Cabi (the pilot) has posted another pic of himself and James on Final Gear. The man in the middle is one of the officers. He also admits to listing to U2 while flying. Well, of course! That's a silly Q, the best tune is "Elevation!"And about that centrifuge: I have a video of myselft at 9 Gs and I look exactly like my dad when he was 70yrs old. That pic of James is what he will look like in his 70s too! Gravity always wins. Oh dear... James is going to morph into Paul McCartney in a couple of years.

Thanks Linden. Did you get the RadioTimes at Waterstones Amsterdam? I rather go there now then to the airport. They have a lot more magazines.

I've always wanted to mention that he looked like Paul McCartney in that respect because that's the first thing I thought when I saw James in the centrifuge on 20th Century and this just reinforced that thought.
