No, I don't think so. Seeing what James had to go through to be allowed to go up there, I don't think that the American organisation that is in charge of it could afford to let regular people up there.
If it was possible though, would you be brave enough to try out? I certainly wouldn't. Just watching James in all those situations was making my stomach churn.

Aww Yes if it was possible to go, I would do everything in my power to be able to go. Could you imagine being that high up, gazing down on Earth. Being able to see the curvature of the Earth, the clouds, the sea and the unknown. Being at the edge of space, gazing out at the rest of the universe in all its glory. Not knowing just what is out there. James is one lucky man.

Yes, completely. I think like that everytime I see the moon. Something occured to me, James was looking down onto the earth, but did he or was he able to look up to see what was above him, like the moon?

I don't think so. But the Russia's took a space tourist up last year i think. So they must have had something similar to train him up.

I'd love to go on U2 - what an experience! Now that's living. Mr Crumbs was green with envy and called James a very rude name indeed - "he's flown in a spitfire, a typhoon and U2 - what an **@+!!** *^"@ etc etc. Twas really interesting to see James in a different light. I wouldn't mind seeing him by the light of the moon.......! Liked the music they used - particularly the beginning of Mirrorball by Elbow and a splattering from Doves new CD. Sorry if I'm repeating previous comments by the way.

I did inquire into the price of a flight on the Vomit Comet and it's about $5000 US. One day...

Though wearing that suit, I would have had a serious problem, just watching the "I can't breath moment" had me wanting to rip the thing off....still mind over matter, for the greater good, it'll be worth it....would've won, I think ;D

A: He DID have a go! He's a Pilot you know? Owns his own plane.
