No, MG, you really don't want to read slasher fic - ever! I actually caught a bit of one by accident a while ago. Someone had started a very short but potent one in the comments section following a TG-related article, somewhere on the Net. Bloody hell, my mind truly boggled - the image that story created is stuck in my mind to this day!!! After that, there's no way I'll ever, ever be reading that sort of thing!

I don't need those images flashing in my brain!!! I have an over active imagination as it is so I shall stay well away!
I don't think our minds need anymore boggling!!

Rather boring suggestion ~I would love to see Stig battling against the Stock Car Drivers in Scotland round the track in the Scottish home of stock car racing Purely selfish so i could see the TG3 and Stig a few hundred yards from home Jillian xx

hmmm, in the uniform bit, i think james would probably look very dashing in an RAF uniform, also it would probably be the easiest to persuade him into, with his love of flying and all...

I'd be up for that. Anyone else?

I'd be up for that! It's a nice place to go to even without the Thundersprint.

That would be cool. I can fall out of bed and look suitably dishevelled in 10 mins, it's that close to my house!! There is a hotel (called the Floatel - as it is floating!) right next to the town centre too. It would be nice to meet up and put faces to names!

since this thread was about suggestions for a TG show or challenge, I have another one. no doubt some of you will recall the cliff richard summer holiday movie? Get the boys a red double decker and have them decorate it and drive it somewhere silly on a TG SUMMER HOLIDAY! YAAAAAAAAAAAY! bagsy the top bunk!

I had an idea a couple of days ago and have just remembered it. They always say down here in London that the quickest way to travel from one end of Oxford Street to the other is running across the top of the buses as there's so many of them. My challenge would be they line up double decker buses from Marble Arch to Oxford Circus or Tottenham Court Road on one side of the street. Then a runner (or even Richard) runs across the top whilst Jeremy drives in the other lane whilst obeying the speed limit and all the traffic lights. Who would win. ;D

Ly, that's a really interesting idea - and daft enough for them to do.
If they want a really big challenge, though, they should attempt to get me through my driving test...
Actually, I'm only half kidding - for a start, as far as one of Jezza's old columns suggests, I shouldn't even be bothering anyway as I was obviously not interested enough when I first had the chance to learn... but I'm entering my mid-30s and I love cars - and I *can* drive (technically, inasmuchas I know how to make it go and what to do once it's going), I was ready to take my test 6 months ago. The problem is the driving school has a fleet of new 1.2 Corsas and there's nothing wrong with them, but I get really bored so I lose interest and the next thing I know I haven't had a lesson in 6 months. I really am hopeless! My theory is that driving schools should have lots of different cars so a) you get experience in different makes and models and b) I don't get bored ;D

Take no notice of Jeremy - he's just mouthing off as usual. Sadly, there's not many driving schools that have interesting cars although I think it's a sound idea having different types and models to practice in. I took my test twice when I was 19 and failed because I just wasn't ready to drive at that age (and I knew it). I took it again 10 years later and sailed through and I won't have Jeremy Clarkson or anyone else telling me I wasn't interested or shouldn't be driving or I will parrallel park by their car and then they'll be sorry. ;D

I'm not taking anything the BHB says to heart ;D
I was ready to drive at 17, I just found driving lessons interminable. Unfortunately, I still do. More unfortunately, that was what got me into motorbikes... it's now been almost 15 years since the accident and scarily after all this time I'm getting the urge to get back on 2 wheels; hopefully I didn't use all my lives up last time!!!

I wonder if Jeremy would pass this time? What would they get failed on? Jeremy: speeding James: 'Okay, and take the next left.' James 'Okay then' (turns right) Hamster: causes accident at roundabout dazzling the ladies at the side with his teeth

James: 'Okay, and take the next left.' James 'Okay then' (turns right) I used to do that all the time when I was having lessons
