Doesn't speak well of the Meccano types, does it? Perhaps he should've employed the same group who made his plasticine garden. At least they brought it in on time.

Well it's a man thing It was mostly women making the plasticine garden. There were a few guys 5 or 6. If they've encountered the problems the garden did I'm not surprised it's been delayed. How hard can it be?

For all of us not able to make it to Liverpool next week, just this quick reminder: If you follow this link, there is a webcam showing the area where the bridge will be. Pics are only refreshed once every three houres, but at least we will be able to see some of the action! This picture is a direct link, so it should change every three hours. Make sure you save it properly (so no direct link), when you want to keep it!

woohoo. i've been promising my mate we'd go camping - are there any sites around Liverpool? Driving there an back after drooling all over some nuts and bolts might be more than I can manage, cos of course I'm going for the meccano...... Think they'll need any volunteers with the lego?

Hi zuniga!... yes, meccano does that to me too Not much in the way of camping in (or around) Liverpool that I can think of. You'd have to go a way out! I'm on the Wirral (other side of the Mersey), so I don't know much about the areas outside of Liverpool, but if you stick to the coast, maybe in the direction of Southport, you could find somewhere not too far

Such a shame it wasn't today. Looking at the webcam, so far it's a glorious and sunny day in Liverpool.
James was spotted again in Liverpool last Friday by someone on Twitter, so he must be keeping a close eye on how his workers are getting on with his bridge. ;D
