I completely sympathise with James and his vertigo. I have it myself. I'm sure he'll be fine, but my stomach is doing sommersaults just thinking about it!

Unlike the three vans..... There is slightly more audience in the last pic that was taken at 5.30. There will be a new pic in 90 minutes. The suspense is killing me.

Well, if it's tomorrow that the bridge has to be finished, then maybe they could be in for an all nighter. I hope they don't start getting sleepy - or there might be a collapsible bridge tomorrow

I read on Twitter that James will be unveiling the bridge at noon tomorrow by crossing it. So my guess is that will put it into place tonight.

New pic and neither the crane nor the vans appear to have moved an inch. The audience, not surprisingly, have all buggered off. ;D

No, he was looking amazingly tanned, healthy, relaxed and happy!... the bridge has been constructed, and de-constructed for the night... they have to reassemble it all again tomorrow and, as correctly posted, the amazing Mr May will do the walk of death over the bridge at 12 noon tomorrow He's having to wear harness tho, (he told me exclusively), because they believed the canal to be about 11' deep when, in fact, it's only just over 3' so, as he said, if he fell in, he'd break his neck... and the water's poisonous!

twitpic.com/d2eoyPic from twitter showing James happy and relaxed as mentioned by Liz! I'm glad to hear it. He looked rather tired in the pics that were taken in Devon last Wednesday.

Judging by the way he was bouncing up and down on the bloody thing during filming... the man's either fearless, or a complete looney! ;D

Hooray, you finally managed to be in the right place at the right time, Liz! Glad you met Mr May - who is indeed lovely - and got to have a bit of a chat. Fantastic (It looks like the Now Slightly Less New Blue Rugby Shirt of Not-Doom is going to be appearing a fair bit in this series - the first time I met James at the Plasticine studio he was wearing that one, and he was filming all day...) Permission to squeeee granted!
