I know exactly where it is - one end is not at all far from my mate Barry's house ;D Smug ;D In which case, I'll guess and see if I'm right.

Yep, if that's why he was going?... It wasn't privileged information, he announced it to the crowd

It's not a secret by any means - I just mean they haven't publicised this one in the way they did the Lego thing and they've not been putting out the call for volunteers in quite the same way that they did for the other projects. I think it's lovely that they're doing it this way - I didn't even pick up that James was doing the North Devon Show, though that might be because my family were busy with their village show that week. All the rural shows seem to be at about the same time, which is a bit of a shame because they're a really good laugh. Next year I'm going to make sure I get to the one in my parents' village

I remember going to a Garlic Festival on the Isle of Wight some years past. They had everything you can think of to eat and drink - but with garlic in. Think garlic fudge, garlic chocolate, garlic beer They do like to do weird things out in the country sometimes........

They still Wassail the apple trees in my parents' village.
I say Wassail, but what I mean is that they get monumentally clattered, then stumble out into the orchard with bits of toast dipped in cider, which they then throw into the trees. Then they shoot the trees.
Amazingly, they haven't managed to shoot each other yet.

I have a book upstairs that mentions Wassail somewhere in it - it sounds very different to your parents version though ;D but then again, it is a book from my antique kids book collection, so maybe it was toned down slightly ;D ;D

I have a question for those who were there what on earth is james doing in this picture? lol Haven't a clue!... He threw some amazing shapes while wearing his harness, but I didn't see this one... I can only imagine he was finally allowing his legs to buckle under him! Maybe zuniga knows, she was on that side

Do we know why the bridge is in 2 bits? I suppose it is easier to build it in two bits but i would have thought they would have joined it together? or did they run out of stuff lol.

It's not easier, it's harder. That's why James probably went for that option, to show what you can be done with Mecanno.
