Don't know if this will help, but i had a similar problem after downloading MSTT, but i had the video but no audio. It didn't work on quicktime or real player! I downloaded DivX player, which did the trick! I am using a Mac and not sure if this will work for a PC! I am still learning with this torrent lark too, most confusing at times!

Are you familiar with torrents? You can download the whole programme (and every single epis ode of Top Gear and all the other stuff the guys did. ;D) It might look all a bit complex at first, but it's dead easy. Don't forget you first you have to install a torrent client like Azureus though. Pleeeaaassse help me with this torrents thing! I've never used them before.... I installed a torrent client (utorrent) and downloaded what I thought was MSTT's video but I've just played it and it's only the audio. Please can someone talk me through the process of getting audio and video for My Sisters' Top Toys. I just want to watch it again. Thanks in advance for your help. It looks like you managed to download the file in good order, but that you need the right player to play it. WMP often won't work and only play the audio, just like you say. Have you tried the VLC player? That will play almost anything.

I always thought the most hilarious bit was when he started reading the instructions of the make up doll and all those little girls just got on with it. ;D

I just can't believe James was playing with make up and not a mention on top gear but then again that would mean the other two would have to admit to watching each other on TV.

I just watched this on BBC2 and he came off with an expression that made me laugh so much and I think is just fabulous. When he was talking about the Sylvanian Families, he described them as 'animals in human mufty' that made me laugh so so much. And is it just me or does anyone else think that Major Morgan The Electronic Organ sound a bit like a dodgy 1070s porn movie?

I felt like a weirdo watching it though, all those girls toys didn't appeal to me when I was a kid, because they didn't do anything. I was bought dolls, very very expensive (for the time) dolls but they stayed in their box and I ignored them. The best 'toy' I got when I was a kid was a tool set like my Grandad's. It was an 8th birthday present and I loved it. It didn't have cheap plastic tools in it, they were all real, it had a saw with spare blades, a hammer - which I loved and adored, funny little metal things, cupboards to put nails in, screwdrivers, the lot. It was a wonderful thing.

I know. My Grandmother inadvertantly left out something important, a plank or two. I was playing with it in the kitchen one afternoon and I had nothing to cut up so I looked at the table and thought 'well it's wood, it will cut' and just as I was about to put the saw on the leg of the table, my Grandmother came into the kitchen and saw me and shouted 'NO' so she took me to the DIY shop and got me a plank. Later that afternoon, said plank got nailed to one of the stairs in the front hall and it took my Grandad and his mate about half an hour to remove it when I was finished. Needless to say, Grandmother thought it wasn't the most successful present she ever got me, in her eyes at least, but I loved it! One of the best things ever!

I love the face he make during the treehouse one. It's just before he takes it outside and blows it up. Then there's the evil laugh after he blows it up. That part of the show always makes me laugh too. ;D ;D ;D

I'm not really sure about that one either. If I remember correctly, and it's been so long, so I might not, I think there was a background that the felt bits stuck to and different colours and shapes could be used to make pictures, I think. Or am I getting it mixed up with Fashion Plates or Loom?

Oh no, that's right. I could never see the point of it because it didn't do anything. Dolls didn't do anything either so I never got the point of those either. I liked board games and puzzles mainly, things that made you think about what was going on oe where you had to do something before you could do something else. Like an old game called Guess Who, that was fab! And Cluedo, Monopoly, Scrabble, Go For Broke - Never really liked that one, I hated getting rid of all my cash!!! LOL, Then I became a computer geek. I liked things that you had to press buttons on and things that made noises. Big hammers were great fun too.

OK, I will have a go after dinner. There may not be all that many, and it will only be taken from James May'a Top Toys, the first one he made. Also, they won't be all that good of a quality, I will try to fix them up as best I can but the DVD was transferred from video by the cool dudette here called PP (thanks! ) but the original recording that went on to the tape is where the poor quality comes from. It was recorded on an old analogue aerial (the new digital one I got didn't improve anything really) and the reception here is a bit sh*tty, esp for BBC2 which pisses me off because that is the only channel I really watch!! Oh, irony is a cruel and sadistic master.
