This is a massive bump, but I knew there was a quotes page somewhere - I'm just watching an old episode on Dave and it's the news where they're talking about the vibrating seat pad. The conversation runs:
Jezza: The thing is, it's quite annoying James: I think it's probably not meant for you Jezza: Is it meant for you? James: No, I think you have to be a girl
James then continues, but Jezza and Richard talk over him. You can pick out what he's saying and clearly it's from his own experience. Always makes me smile.
They're like chaps, but they've got more shoes and they like the heating on higher

That's good. Occasionally, well, very occasionally, Twitter produces some brilliance.
Someone tweeted to James: How can you mend a broken heart? #MineIsCompletelyBroken”
And James replied: Someone else will mend it when you weren't expecting it.

Great quotes, ladies. Dit, I always wanted to know what James was saying but could never quite make it out. It's sweet.
FL, I wonder if James is speaking from personal experience?

I don't know. That's a pretty insightful statement, IMHO. I've heard him say that he'd had a number of girlfriends prior to his current long-term relationship.

I loved how he dealt with Jeremy in the recent Burma trip.
JEREMY: Why did you tip me out my lorry?
JAMES: Because you swung me about in my tent.
JEREMY: But you deserved it - you were irritating. I'm never irritating.
JAMES: That's a good point Jeremy raises. I feel quite bad about it now, because when is Jeremy ever irritating?
(Not to bash Jeremy, but I think that's an incredibly good way of handling that! I love James' insightful comments and clever ways of making his point.)
