For the benefit of us outside of the UK, any chance of this acceptance speech being uploaded elsewhere? I don't think the iPlayer works for me... *sad*

asparay, there's a site called www.thebox.bz where you can download Uk shows, but 1 download at a time and you need to upload aswell as there is a ratio in place. By the way, which episode was it on?

I'm not sure which one i'm looking for, which is why i'm asking here because the descriptions don't say about James's win.

Just seen the highlights of Chelsea. Oh my word, what a fantastic result. Congratulations to all that helped. I don't know if anyone on here did, but you must be so proud of yourselves. James looks tired I thought.

I thought James looked tired, but then again, he's been working on at least three episodes of things this week (two of Toy Stories - Plasticine and Airfix - and Top Gear's latest race/challenge thingy). All of which means he's probably worked at least eight days, and certainly at least a week, without a break! He was probably just grateful to be sitting down But yes, as someone who did help out, I do feel ridiculously proud and chuffed. I'm pretty sure a few other people are feeling the same way ;D

My most asked question was - "what's the soil made of?". Duh - PLASTICINE! ;D Annnd - how could I forget THIS bit? I was on the BBC coverage last night *chuckles* If you watched it, I was the loon in the background behind Mr Titmarsh, in black trews and a black-and-gold striped top. Oh yeah, I got that q quite a lot too! OMJ, I didn't see you! *goes to rewind tape*

Well I return from Chelsea with very sore feet, sunburn and hay fever totally off the scale of any pollen count! But wow what a day!!! And James got the peoples award!!!! ;D ;D We got there just at the right time!!! When we watched it on telly last night (James looked adorable as always but tired ) my sis reckoned you could hear me cheer when they presented the award, mind you I did get a stearn look from the bloke next to me! Even though it was the last day huge praise to the RHS – the show looked as a fresh as a daisy (pardon the pun). My sister and I got there early and started in the pavilion. I now have a thing for dahlias!!!! I really liked the Cancer Research Garden for its contrasting lines and shapes; the Quilted Velvet garden was up there in my favs too! I loved the French/English garden it was sooo romantic, I stared at it for ages just daydreaming. James’ garden is superb, the attention to detail is amazing, every time I looked round it I spotted something I had missed the first time. My sis, who knew fairly little about it was amazed. Have to say it brought a lump to my throat. I heard nothing but praise for it from the people stood around me. My favourite piece in the garden, small but perfectly formed forget-me-nots on the tree. Sweeeet! Pleased to see it may have a new home. Well done James and Team, it was brill! ;D ;D Anyway, my sis snaffled so much stuff we had to taxi it back to Chiswick (where were staying the night with friends of hers) the driver was a sweetheart. Alan Titchmarsh called to us to ask we were ok as we left under a deluge of greenery. He rocks!!

Ooh, I just remembered, James' garden was mentioned on HIGNFY last night, asking the panelists what it was made from and the presenter mentioned that he got a gold medal made from plasticine and then he made a quip along the lines of 'which is just another way of saying piss off' I get the joke but he was so wrong. James' garden rules!

the presenter mentioned that he got a gold medal made from plasticine and then he made a quip along the lines of 'which is just another way of saying piss off' Possible, but the people's choice award is a proper award. The 'placky garden won a genuine award! This makes me happy, but the gold plasticine medal was a lovely touch - it may just have been a big joke, but it's really the only material that could have been used to make an award for this garden ;D

Yes! I completely agree! I wonder if the medal will be going to the new homes of the garden too or will they let James keep it?
