More reporting from the Daily Telegraph "One of the main things that has affected the mood at Chelsea is that all the designers – bar one – of the 13 large show gardens (there are usually 20-plus) are men. Several gardens sport rather ‘blokey’ planting: masses of contrasting spiky, architectural or bold-leaved plants with strong foliage tones. Perhaps for female gardeners the upside is some fine body form among the designers, with James May (showing a small garden) taking the gold in this category. Apparently the ticket office line has been red hot with purchasers trying to find out which days he will be there." ;D

LOL! It would be lovely if he was there, but I highly doubt he will be after today. Busy man, tight schedule, etc etc.

He looks slightly insane....that's what two-and-a-half tonnes of plasticine does for ya ;D I'm sure it creates noxious fumes.

Yeah Alan is on dangerous ground Oh come on. From yesterday's footage it's very very obvious that Alan and James like each other a lot. Alan is taking the mickey just like Jezza and Hammond would do. ;D

Another report coming through. Actor Stephen Fry was on hand to launch a rose to raise money for the Equity Benevolent Fund, before heading to James May's Plasticine garden, where he was enthusiastic about the alternative to conventional planting, telling the TV presenter: "I've never seen anything nicer in my life.".Awwww! By the way, if you are on Twitter, could you please tweet @stephenfry that he ought to invite James over on QI? I've been doing it and so have some other people I have noticed! ;D

Alan is taking the mickey just like Jezza and Hammond would do. ;D Alan has been on ITV for far too long Anyway he could be the voice of the RHS (spoil sports) Tonight will be interesting. Anyway I wasn't that serious. I would have only thrown plasticine at him. Alan IMHO has always been one of the best gardener's on tv. He'd make a good SIARPC ;D

He's not been judged yet and we won't know until tomorrow morning when they had out the medals. It would be a nice thought though.

No, he hasn't won a prize (yet - *hopes*) as such - he seems to won the unofficial accolade of being 'top totty gardener' ;D
