No, he hasn't won a prize (yet - *hopes*) as such - he seems to won the unofficial accolade of being 'top totty gardener' ;D if he doesn't win a prize perhaps we could send him for the above category Yes.......

Oh, I am sorry for the confusion. Well we could always make our own award and send that to him. Top Totty Gardener, I would defo agree with that!!

The sculpture. Not quite in the design but cool. According to Stephen Fry - and therefore true - it's a bust of the inventor of Plasticine. That would be William Harbutt then.

Thanks for the YouTube and the links - I'll take a peek when I get home.
D'you know, I really hope James's garden DOES win a medal. For years, I watched the coverage and been shocked by the snootiness of some of the gardeners, getting all haughty if they 'only' win a silver gilt. I hope a garden with some humour wins something worthy...

"It's art, art is its own reward. I know it's good." What a lovely way to sum it up. I think I may be rediscovering a crush...

Just because it's different doesn't mean it's not valid, and with the garden as art being part of this year's theme, it seems quite appropriate! Also, I'd like to see it do well if only to shut up all the snobs and whingers ;D

Thanks for all these links, the attention to detail in James' garden is stunning and it looks beautiful. And for all those who said it, I totally agree with you, James' garden should win something. That would be a giant two-fingered salute to all those snobby individuals who clearly have no sense of humour. GO JAMES!!! We could be his Chelsea Cheer Squad!!
