I thought we probably needed a thread dedicated to cat-related topics. Here's a video of the consequences of a cat licking out a bowl with a sthingy in it when he has a magnet attached to his collar...

LOL! Yay! You may well regret this Mayfayre, as I can blather on about cats ad nauseam, but generally don't unless I am with other cat lovin' folk. Anyway, just give me a virtual kick under the table if it all becomes too boring.
Cats and James being two of my favourite things, it's lovely to be able to talk about them both in the same place. Hurrah!

I used to have a lovely puss called Babes. She was a long haired tabby cat but she left home when I got Bobby Jo the boxer She lives with one of the neighbours now but she still knows me. She was so pretty

Aww. Wings, what a little cutie. Brillo seems much better this morning, still a little sore. But he has had some breakfast and is up and about which is good because last night he couldn't walk. No bones broken, just nasty deep gashes on the insides of his back legs and a swollen hock (?). Vet thinks he may have got his leg caught in a fence or something while trying to get away from a dog. I am much relieved.

He is Blue Cornish Rex, so he has grey curly fur and looks a bit like a brillo pad. Here is a pic of the little fella.

I will post a picture of my mother's 'innocent' little cat at some point - last time it saw me it nearly punctured my vein - never seen such animosity in an animal's eyes! Do not be fooled by the pretext of all felines being friendly and cuddly

Today is not a good day. Not only do we have p*ssing rain & rumours of secret marriages, but my brother's 6 month old kitten was run over. She was the grand-daughter of my Summer and the cutest kitten you could ever wish for. RIP Tiny Heidi

She survived (with a mangled front leg) but I will never forget the awfulness of picking her up off the road

I could spend HOURS on that Kittenwar site!!
Anyone want 2 adorable cats with highly expensive, sparklingly clean teeth? I really DON'T need vet bills in excess of £300 just before Xmas!! Grrrrrr.
