I'm drinking a cheeky little red and trying to ignore the footy. The N.C. is helping to distract me. ;D

At the moment I am eating nothing because our refrigerator died and we had to throw out everything in it! The freezer had completely defrosted and everything had to go. It is dinner time and I am waiting for my husband to get home from work; he is stopping on his way home to pick up hoagies. Then I'll be eating a ham hoagie with bacon. Yum!

Thanks for taking care of that answer for me nobody. I forgot that the term "hoagie" is a term we use here on the east coast of the United States. Amongst us easterners there can be debate as to what does and what does not constitute a hoagie. But that is all too picky, and essentially, it is just a sandwich on a long roll. ;D

Thank you Nobody & Aeromanda for the heads up ;D Here in the Middle East that type of sandwich is generally called "a torpedo" Edited to say that I am currently eating some peanut butter on toast

I always thought that a hoagie was an Australian word Obviously not. I'm having a very large glass of Pepsi Max with a lot of ice in it! I would also be having a caramel Cornetto-type cone as well, except TOH must have eaten the last one *growls*

Strawberries. Bucketloads of 'em. In smoothies, with cream, in stir fry, in omelettes, on meatballs, turned into jam, ice cream, soup, you name it, I'm willing to give it a go to get through the glut!

I've just had a really balanced meal of 2 pork pies followed by 2 Lemon Whirls in custard, then 2 Chocolate Whirls in chocolate custard. It was VERY Yum! ;D I'm sure the lemon in the Lemon Whirls counts as a portion of fruit...
