Wouldn't know the difference between a pie and a cake ;D Yea, I figured it's mainly strawberries and cream, heheh ;D I have been involved in very Serious Discussions of pie vs. cake. Mostly...is cheesecake a pie or a cake? Neither, it's a tart. ;D

Tart?? That's English? That's almost the Dutch word for pie, namely: Taart!

As a general rule, pies have a pastry (or similar) lid (they may have a base as well) and tarts or flans are open.
Lemon Meringue Pie breaks the rules, unless you count the meringue as a lid!

Wow, Grizabella, it's obvious that you've a real addiction: strawberries You think? ;D That's because here we have fresh strawberries only during summer, about 2-3 months, so it's a summer treat. We wait for the strawberries the whole long dark winter. Frozen ones are not the same and the imported ones don't taste like anything... Must get them while I can.

Antonia, heheh, quite interesting! ;D Grizabella, same here. They're still here, but when it's winter, we only have the frozen and important ones that they take off when they're still green

Peppermint tea. I think I'm in love with this stuff now. Too bad I'm out now. Made my stomach feel better. While it lasted at any rate. Little brother made lemon merangue pie today and gave me some.....is it supposed to be lumpy in the lemony bit? No. It's not supposed to be lumpy anywhere.

Maple syrup on pancakes - yes! Pancakes should never be naked. ;D
Maple syrup on eggs - perhaps not.
Eggs on the side - yes.
But right now, black cherry Greek yogurt. Yum! ;D

Sushi. Just finished a spicy tuna roll, an Alaska roll, and a white tuna roll. My twitter feed gave me one heck of a craving last night, something they are not remotely sorry about, and I had to order it for lunch today. Started with a couple people wanting local restaurant recommendations, then went on to discussing it and I swear they just wanted me to spend more money on sushi. It was delicious.
