Don't like to cloud the issue, but according to that Radio Rimes article, James doesn't figure anywhere, though Top Gear is nominated in the Features section that James is supposed to be nominated in (if that makes sense).

I was foxed by that too dit but I think that article was from last year! Lazy Radio Times.

Trust me to not look at the date. Today isn't the 6th - doh! So it isn't even on tonight. Anyone know when it is? I'm guessing next weekend.

If you're on Twitter, you might want to follow @bafta for the evening. Lots of inside gossip and pics! Plus, we'll be posting live videos on www.bafta.org through the night. Watch the stars arrive on the red carpet + all the winners backstage about 5 hours ago via web The hashtag for the evening is #baftas, obviously, already trending in the UK.

"The hashtag for the evening is #baftas, obviously, already trending in the UK".
I wish I had the faintest idea what any of that sentence meant!

"The hashtag for the evening is #baftas, obviously, already trending in the UK". I wish I had the faintest idea what any of that sentence meant! Oh, Dit, you are so 2009. A hashtag (#) is like a tag on flickr or photobucket. If you do a search on twitter, you can search for #bafta and all the tweets will show up in which this tag has been used. Trending simply means it's one of the ten most used hashtags at this moment. But don't worry, I'll keep an eye on Twitter and if James makes an appearance, I'll post the link here.

Never mind being 2009, I think I'm positively 20th century!
I like the way you assume that I'll understand the comparisons to flickr and photobucket! I can just about handle phyrefile and that's more by good luck than anything else. I don't tweet and don't "do" Facebook, MSN or any of the other stuff, and I'm still having trouble getting my mobile to do anything except make phone calls (and occasional photos, if I can work out how to do it before the moment's passed).
I'm not a Luddite, just haven't got the time to work it all out when what I've got already seems to be enough for the moment. As I never seem to be off the internet, that's enough to be going on with!

Glad to be of service, Jacqui. ;D Weird thing is that on Twitter Bafta has started to announce the winners of several BAFTA's. I guess the tv show will concentrate on the major ones only. I hope that includes the one James is nominated for.

I think they do get the more minor (and I don't mean to sound patronising) BAFTA's out of the way first, then they tend to run through them quickly at the end or inbetween ;D

9 winners out of 26 categories announced so far. I'm afraid the lovely Mr Stephen Fry missed out on his Bafta. He lost to Ant & Dec.

I'm starting to get it. The tv show isn't life. Twitter is.
I deleted an earlier post of mine on whether or not James won. Hope I didn't spoil it for anyone watching.

In a supposedly intelligent world, how can Ant 'n' Dec ever be better than Mr Fry?
Lindenchase, I've been following on Twitter, too, on the interwebs.

What a shame. I really thought his programme was the most original as we've seen the others before. But as usual BAFTA goes for a safer bet.

I'm so dissapointed, James & Heston lost out! I think both of them deserved one, so I was dissapointed they where put up against eachother, but I thought one of them was sure to get it atleast. But no! what a load of poo!
