I'm interested in 'sexy' cars but not the slightest bit interested in VBH (except in that she's the only female representative in the male world of automotive TV!)

I think that my Mini is 'butchly' sexy, and Purdey the GT6 is 'fluidly' sexy!

I might be going tomorrow evening ;D due to a very lucky set of timing errors on the rota at work, I shall be finishing at 4pm, which gives me JUST enough time to squeeze my way into London.

I shall be going all on my lonesome though as TOH is doing exam invigilation tomorrow evening. Ho hum, I'm sure I'll cope!

I'm taking my three nephews tomorrow while my mum and my sister have a day shopping in the west end. If it's anything like last year, by the time I come home I'll be falling over with exhaustion and stressed beyond belief - but I'll also be the bestest auntie... In The World ;D

I'm going up to the NEC too - partly because of the classic car show, but mainly because I'll be meeting with many friends and giving my liver a thorough workout.

Fortunately I will get to go on Sunday, when I've no nephews or alcohol poisoning, and actually appreciate it, and at least now they've extended the F1 season, it doesn't clash with the last race of the year!

Just back from todays show and loved every minute of it. Our seats weren't the best because we booked so last minute but it was a fab day. I thought it was better than last year with more time on stage from the boys. For me it was a perfect mix of stunt cars and the TG3.
There was one very predictable moment for poor James but it was still hilarious. I'll sort through my piccies over the weekend and post any that are reasonable although they won't be anywhere near as good as those from andypanty.
For those going over the weekend, have fun and enjoying the drooling!

Edited to add of course Jezza just had to rib James re his adverts for "Pride".

I'd have loved to have gone there with you, but unfortunately I can't afford to go to either Earl's Court or the NEC. So, no TG Live for me this year, worse luck.

Two more sets here - Friday show and Saturday show.

Loads of close-ups (including Jez's bottom!) in the first set as I had an aisle seat where they do the cool wall. Not many of the show in the second as I was mainly taking videos (which I will post on Youtube and link here for you all) but there are loads of Richard doing his DVD signing.

There's 20 mins of extra footage on the DVD, so I think it is worth having.

Not sure if this will work, but here's my page on youtube. Videos are going up gradually and it'll avoid me spamming the board with them if you can view them at source! There's also last year's vids on there - plus some random ones of my cats which you can ignore!! Oh - and a couple I took at the Christmas Toy Stories Fair that James did.

Had a fantastic time today. No spoilers, but my three boys loved seeing their heroes, looking at the pretty cars and getting involved with all kinds of things like Scalextric and radio controlled toys. My feet are killing me and I'm dead on my feet, so I'm going to turn in, but it was a lovely, lovely day and I might have shed a tear or two when they all got on the train to go back to Devon

He was very worried about the show - when I was talking to him before the first one on Thursday he was properly spilling his heart out about how sh*t it was going to be and how everything was going to go wrong. Now I know he always says that, but he normally says it with a wry grin on his face, but this time he had a real frown and was constantly chewing his fingernails. But I saw him again on Saturday and told him that it was fine, and he did look a bit more cheerful then. He was in the audience for that show with his son - who he introduced me to, which I thought was really nice of him. Here's hoping I get to see him again at one of today's shows (Andy, that is, not his son! )
