*nods* If the boys happen to be in this hotel, they're likely to see more of me than they ever wanted to if I'm not careful...

The text thing is absolute genius. We've been having a great deal of fun with it this weekend ;D Need to come up with something good for the final show

It's a new addition to the Cool Wall - they've got a screen on which the audience can send text messages for Richard and Jeremy to read out. Obviously they're moderated, so they don't allow anything too offensive through, but I'm with a very large group and we've been having a lot of fun with it - especially when one of the girls asked Jeremy to 'say POWEEEER and give [her] a crisis' - which he did, which was yummy ;D

I txted 'Andy Wilman show us your lucky pants' which Jeremy read out while, coincidentally, he was stood right next to me as I had an aisle seat and the camera was also focussed on me. I might have gone slightly red and hid my face in my hands - God only knows what Andy thought if he was looking at the screen at that time

Yes, 'twas me. Jacqui and I had a wonderful girlie weekend at the NEC and did everything you could imagine (and a little bit more!)
Jacquie had warned me about the texting so everything was prepared. Mine was first text up on screen, had my name then "James, can I have a birthday kiss?" (it's my birthday today, 29 again, of course!). Jeremy picked up on it straight away, read it out then said, "('my real name', well that must actually be Derek, of course!")
Jeremy was standing in the aisle on the same row as us but luckily he wasn't right next to us, otherwise the camera would have shown a certain birthday girl having a crisis, as her friend laughed hysterically!
Great show, so funny, banter brilliant, stunts and effects even better than previous years. To all the people in the rest of the world who will see it over the next few months, you'll love it!!!!!

Show was great! First time I'd been, and saw Becks' text! *giggleblush* I LOVED the text facility! And the fact that it was modded backstage meant that they put up stuff they found funny instead of pages and pages of 'OMG teh hampster is like soo fit' which I suspect made up 90% of the texts they received! I had a three out of three hit rate on getting mine read out, although I think Jezza found my opinion on James's very pleasing aesthetics rather hilarious!

Details please! What did you text? A selection from the weekend (not all mine!) From "Anon": Jezza - are you smuggling a wok? (I nearly wet myself laughing at that one!) From Kristen Scott Thomas: Jeremy, the injunction stands From "Anon": Blimey! JLS have let themselves go a bit haven't they? From "Anon": Crikey, there's a lot of cars in Horse of the Year Show this year... From "Anon": Richard, get a b****y haircut!! (numerous times) From "Anon": Jeremy, please say POWEEEERRRR and give me a crisis (he did!) From Becks: Please have James May scrubbed and brought to my bedchamber. Oh, and tell him to bring a pie... (at this point Jeremy suggested 'Becks' was David Beckham...LOL!)
