Oh god, it's with signing - can't cope!
Please, please, PLEASE don't think I'm insulting those who need signing. I just read XJS's post, leapt over and then found I was being a bit distracted by the nice lady in the corner.
I am, however, getting used to her, and suppose I will just have to stay up till 10 past 2 to see the programme out. The sacrifices we make.....

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it was a signed repeat. My mistake! The thing is, I've watched lots of signed programmes, and I don't find it at all distracting, so I don't give it a second thought these days!

It's only distracting at first. And it was a very nice surprise to see it on, I catch something new in it each time. Thanks, XJS!

Mods - if this is in the wrong place, or has already been uploaded, please just remove it! I've uploaded the audio book for 'How to land an A330 Airbus' and it's here. As ever, please do let me know of any problems, either with downloading it or with the file itself.
Thank you so much AP!!! My challenge for the year: to save this for my flight over to London. How I'm going to last six months without listening at all is beyond me...let's see how long it takes before I give in.

My challenge for the year: to save this for my flight over to London. How I'm going to last six months without listening at all is beyond me...let's see how long it takes before I give in. I was trying to "save" it too..... but as MOH is away I crumbled , gave in and listened to it..... I have got as far as the start of the chapter on invading the Isle of Wight. Thought I'd stop there as that is where MOH is right now and it didn't seem right listening to that bit somehow

I was watching it last night too, and I thought the signing lady was hilarious! I love how they put the tone of things across with posture and facial expression. Watching some of her expressions at some of the things James was saying had me in stitches. We watched the signed version of Upstairs Downstairs as well, and the lady they had doing part of that did the most brilliant outraged expressions I've ever seen ;D

I cannot stop watching that video, it's cracking me up so much. ;D On a related note though, I would sob if my artwork got that reaction, unless that was the intent. Charlie...go take a drawing class, find another muse, and try again? You got potential!

Or... Charlie find a woman without a boyfriend!!
His laugh is terribly infectious, as Jacqui has said. Even if I were Charlie, I couldn't help laughing with him! ;D ;D

Yeah...sheesh Charlie, you couldn't even pick out THAT pertinent piece of information there? His laugh is so infectious. And why I just hit play on that video again. And Charlie did seem pretty amused and laughing with him as well.

I picked that up first on the NC earlier. I couldn't stop replaying it either.
I love the way he - well, it's difficult to put into words, but he lets his laughter totally take him over. There's nothing half-hearted about it, it just seems to consume him. It's very difficult not to giggle.

That's what I like about him busting up like that, I can't help but start laughing myself. It's thoroughly contagious!!
The same thing happened to me when I saw Road Trip. Everytime James busted up over the wine tasting, I just couldn't stop laughing.

Now that's the sort of thing I'm happy to wake up to on my day off! Hilarious!! ;D ;D Thanks so much for the link. I love it when he loses it. ;D "Honestly, it's really touching, and I can't draw...that why I don't!" Poor Charlie...

Love that first pic of James - the hair's coming back very nicely, thank goodness. Snow? Theoretically possible, I suspect.

Love that first pic of James - the hair's coming back very nicely, thank goodness. Snow? Theoretically possible, I suspect. You need super-cooled water droplets and particles of dust to form a nucleus, then it has to fall through cold air to allow the snow crystals to form properly. By coincidence, I just watched a documentary on snow on BBC4. Instant expert!
