I was talking to my hairdresser today about TG's visit to Lotus earlier this year. Her OH, who works for Lotus,knew they were filming there but wasn't interested in meeting them as he has met Jeremy before. Obviously I asked her what Jeremy is like and she said he's just like he is on telly. He's opinionated,loud and funny.  |

Can't believe somebody gave up such an opportunity but then I suppose not everyone is as besotted by "our boys" as we are. If ever I get to meet any of the TG3 that would be how I'd like to do it. Meeting them by being at the right place at the right time, nothing pre-arranged, nothing staged, just coming across them or actually being invloved because I worked somewhere they were filming.  Yeah, yeah yeah I'll keep dreaming! |

(This isn't exactly the same but I'm gonna put it in this thread anyway...) I just read that the boys were spotted in South Carolina today filming Top Gear. OK so that is probably about an 8 hour drive for me an not just around the corner but THEY'RE IN THE US!!! And given the size of the country South Carolina is more "around the cornerish" from PA than San Francisco or Utah. I wish that I could go see them! If I knew a location other than "in the Blue Ridge area" and how long they will be there I would so go on a road trip! C'est la vie! |

I take it you are the same violet over there? I guess if anyone knows anything, they'll post. In the meantime, I've told anyone I know here who has heard of TG to look out for them. I'm right in the middle of Manhattan now, near Penn. It would be wicked cool to see them around here since I doubt I'll get to their neck of the woods anytime soon. |

That I am! I'm solsticeviolet on FG, if anyone wants to know and/or friend me over there. XD Us gals need to stick together in such a testosterone-filled environment. Ah, you're right in the thick of the city, then! It would be astonishing to see them around there, wouldn't it. I was born in Manhattan and lived in southern Westchester for over 20 years, but I'm very familiar with good part of Manhattan, especially in your neck of the woods. I have the same doubts about ever seeing them over yonder, so any opportunity we've got here is very exciting. I hope we can find out more! |

It's funny you moving from here to Maine, my beloved moved from Bath, Maine to here about 15 years ago. It's really lovely up there.

I've nowhere to be this afternoon, so I'm going back every once in a while just in case something pops up. I'm rather worked up about it! Ha, that is a funny coincidence. It is quite beautiful up here, indeed - I am still not used to the very (VERY) long winters up here, but it is beautiful all year round. My favorite time of year is coming up when everything explodes in color! Though I do admit that I miss NY very much and would like to go back eventually. Bayleaf, that's awful! D'oh! >.< |
