Well 10 minutes actually if I'm going to be pedantic. That's how close I live to Norwich airport where James nearly 'crashed' his caravan airship. I remember thinking there was an awful lot of helicopter activity around the airport that morning and then seeing a news stand on the way home that night with a headline about it. Don't know how I missed the giant orange thing in the sky.  |

I don't know the details yet, I've only seen a spoiler, but I have reason to believe they were literally about 3 minutes from where I work (turn left out of the gate, immediately left, then right to the end of the [short] road) a few weeks ago. If I'm right I'll be pleased they were there but cross that I didn't find out about it and get chance to sneak out for a quick peek.

When James and Jeremy were testing the new Scirocco (in the last series?) they were driving it along the road that runs along the top of the valley behind my house. Plus, the piece where they were testing cars for teenagers - the schoolyard they met in is in my local town.

I feel your pains Off the top of my head, they've never ever been my side of Essex (tell a lie, Thurrock, so make that about 35mins on a good day ;D).......my parents side yes, and sadly far more then just 15 mins |

Hammond was right where i live when he did the review thing of the dodge charger, the lanes you see him go through are just outside bobbing and iwade and he also goes on the island on the road leading to the RSPB place. Ironic really as about that time i worked for the council and that was "my patch" so it was really weird for me not to have seen anthing, unless it was done on a weekend.

According to one of the posts in the Series 15 spoiler threads the TG3 were, apparently, in or around the Aldershot area looking at expensive cars. I live about 5 miles from Aldershot so sadly I qualify for this 'club'. Lew - what is the bonus of belonging to this "they were only down the road" club? A real meet up the TG3 ?  . Yeah, yeah, yeah I wish! |
