I tried to watch the show. I made it about seven minutes in before I couldn't stand the two hosts any longer. I don't think even James will make it watchable.
Do you have to be drunk or otherwise under the influence before it gets funny?

I bet he chucks himself into the show and makes a right good job of it. Vic and Bob seem to like the folk who 'get' where they are coming from and I think James will definitely be up for it. Can't wait  |

I must (somewhat shamefully!) admit that I do like Shooting Stars, just because I find it good to watch some complete nonsense and utter twaddle once in a while ;D  However... saying that... I'm not sure whether James is right for the show It will either be awkward and cringey to watch, and I'll be cowering behind a pillow - or it'll be like inky said and James'll throw himself right into the show and it good be a good 'ol laugh ;D I guess we'll just have to wait and see... !! |

Not that I have the opportunity to watch SS anymore but "back in the day" I actually used to like it, sorry folks. I'm one of those odd people that actaully get Vic & Bob's humour.

If so, I can watch up to that point and then shut it off, never to have to witness the tramp again!

I haven't seen it before either, DMC, so I have no idea what part of the show it is. I fear I'm going to have to find out, lol. It's been about 40 minutes and I'm *still* going "eeew!" over it! My fiancé came in the room to kiss me goodbye (he was off to work just now) and he had a bit of a scruff going on and I literally recoiled! "Noooo! You don't understand! Look!" I showed him the clip and he laughed and laughed. Humph! Glad this is funny to you, dear!  ... ;D |
