I enjoyed those pics - ta!
I really really enjoyed the show - I laughed so much. Like some of you, I have a surreal sense of humour and love the ridiculous. James was bloody gorgeous wasn't he? And yes, I think he's lost weight too. As it happens, I know of someone who saw the show recorded (major jealousy pangs when I heard) but I'm unlikely to be in his company for a while, but when I am......I shall surreptitiously ask ze qvestions.....
James as Hitler? He can invade my territory......

Please upload more SonicSophie, I really enjoyed looking at the first set. I love the way James wrinkles his nose when he laughs.

I totally agree with anyone else - those are wonderful pictures Sophie I adore the picture when he 'opens' the imaginary glass with onions xD Made me laugh so much, when I saw it! And picture number 3... Aw (:

Awww, thank you so much, I was worried you'd all think I'm a complete and utter loony! All of those are from the first fifteen minutes of the show, so later tonight I can do the last fifteen minutes Although I've already screen-shotted the tramp scene, so I'll just bring them over too James did look utterly gorgeous in this episode though... I love that jacket ^_^ *swoon!*

Can't anyone watch it for what it is? Mr May getting a bit of publicity courtesy of the Beeb? Don't tell me he didn't know what he was getting into. He played the 'James May' game to the hilt but I think he enjoyed the exposure Time to stop analysing what you have no idea about, I think

For what it's worth, always loved Shooting Stars in the past, Vic Reeves and the surreal humour. Fave bit (apart from delectable James) was when the mask crawled across the floor at the start. Tramp tickling was simultaneously hilarious and horrifying.
James is looking more and more the pro TV star - very tanned - and anyone else noticed how white his teeth are lately?
I find any occasional genuine ineptitude on his part endearing but there's less and less of it lately. I'm not being critical, he is just so much more polished than he used to be. He is getting plenty of practise though (well done James!) so maybe not surprising...
He once said he always thought he might end up as a tramp one day so an interesting juxtaposition there - maybe the tramp was his own future confronting him!!! Ooh-er, did that thought occur to him i wonder?
Howsabout that for over-analysing!

Thank you for all the photo's Sophie - they are fab! ;D I actually got the chance to watch this when it was on while I was in the UK. MOH & I were in a hotel room (somewhere) and MOH just happned to chance upon it when it started. I used to love Shooting Stars when it was on the 1st time round and thought this was hilarious...... made even more great by being the one James was in. MOH on the other hand was slightly shocked and bewildered by it all..... especially me in fits of laughter! I thought James too the whole event quite well really, he must have known exactly what it was going to be like but I did think he looked "out of his comfort zone" sometimes, bless him. Not going to over analyze.... seems that's been done quite a bit before me ;D
