I got my invitation to vote through my e-mail. I must have registered with them at some point in the past. James got my vote, partly because I was gutted for him when he didn't win the BAFTA.

I'm voting for Toy Stories... but if you can vote more than once, I'll come back many times and vote a lot more! Of course, I may give a few votes to TG and Richard as well

I received the vote link through my e-mail too. I have voted and I chose James instead of TG. I think it was unfair to have to make a choice like that, but if I can vote again I will.

I voted for James. Would love for him to win just to see the other two's tv interviews afterwards.

Oh I won't tell them! I'm so sneaky. But they won't find out... and how could they guess that I used their emails to vote for James many many times because I am secretly in love with him? ;D My closet is well disguised ;D

Bumping.....as the second round of votes is running and sadly it looks as if James didn't make it - again! Of course, I know we're biased on here, but I'm beginning to think that the British nation just doesn't go for intelligent, witty and informative programming - oh, I forgot, it's all wall-to-wall reality shows and soaps that pull in the discerning viewer nowadays, isn't it?
Top Gear is now up against Celebrity Masterchef, Junior Apprentice and Who Do You Think You Are. A touch of deja vu?
A small consolation - The Open University is 40 years old today and their press release, in a lot of the papers, mentions their early years then describes "the current range of mainstream OU/BBC programming such as Coast and James May's Big Ideas." So he is at least getting a mention.

Its an absolute travisty - I demand a recount. How the hell did James' Toy Stories not make it They were six brilliant, informative, interesting, witty, endearing programs and deserve recognition. What is wrong with Jo Public are they blind! Its the BAFTA's for you then James Anyway.... Come on Top Gear ;D

It's been a year since the programmes were shown. I guess they simply slipped from many people's minds. :-(

Although I understand the chronology really, it does seem a bit odd to be discussing voting for Toy Stories for the TV awards 2011 when Toy Stories was transmitted in 2009 (and Man Lab in 2010).

Yeah it is a bit odd but then again who cares it's james . Silly question which category is james under as i looked twice but still can't find it

Me too. I also voted for QI, because I reckon it deserves a win as much as TG does.

I voted for QI too. Also voted against Loose Women. Couldn't bear for them to win anything again. Still a bit miffed? You bet!
