Hmm, I don't think I like the round glasses on him. And no one looks good in a helmet anyway.

At least he's got one of his favourite helmet/goggles combinations. Even though he's not actually wearing the goggles.

I like him in the goggles. Don't care much for those sunnies though. How many of those Belstaff jackets does he have??

I guess I must be the only one. I kinda liked the sun glasses. Those pics made me go all wobbely in my tummy. Where are they from?

I'm pretty sure they're from Big Ideas - Power To The People, though I'm not 100% certain.
(There were some pics here but I don't know why I put them in this thread, as they were nothing to do with bikes. I've moved them to the Pics of James Part II thread. Sorry!)

There may be something bikeish pending. Someone has tweeted to James
Your passion for motorbikes is quite evident. Have you considered doing a series? Sure you'd come up with something good!
and received the reply
I'm working on it.

Mind you, he's also been tweeting terrible poetry about his Honda 90.
Shame I was at work today - I'm sure I could've come up with something better!

This is sort of bike-related, bear with me...
I once saw a GIF of James making hand motions as if revving a bike and then a rude gesture with the other hand (apparently because speed cameras can't get you if you're on a bike because of the number plate location). Can anyone point me to that GIF or the TG segment it's from?

Fom the website for Classic Bike magazine, August edition. (Jeremy is right; James does ride his bike in a perpendicular position!)

To be fair to him (and I always try to be), he's probably going pretty slowly for the benefit of the photographer

I bought Classic Bike magazine; there's a lengthy and very detailed article written by the guy who refurbed some of the bike parts, describing how he went to James' house and what happened when they put the bike back together in James'garage. Then there's a response from James about how he felt about the job and how it was finished off. It's a good read, and has the minute level of detail that we come to expect from James.
The new lathe gets a mention; apparently he's working on a model steam engine.
