LOL, last vid are they talking about James' hair ;D I don't think he was waving at me in particular but...at the group of about 20 I was in  Though I can't lie - I couldn't speak. The videos are not by me, those were taken by the group I was in because I only had my photo camera with me. I'm pretty sure there was some James eye contact going on with me though <3 lol. I was so nervous and excited that I didn't speak for an hour. Just stood, stared and drooled. Yeah, it is Hammond in the white t-shirt in the middle waving. Jezza was in the red JAAAAAAG. James driving the Audi. He was wearing a very nice t-shirt I just wish I could of got close enough to actually say 'hello' or...'please take me home James' lol. |

Wow, Morgan, you could speak again after an hour?! I think I'd have needed a whole day to "recover"..! It was Hammond...?! Alright, I must've not seen him as my head was still at James'.. Heheh, you serious it's really a JAAAAAAAG Jezza was driving?? Lol ;D Yea, I can imagine, I don't think I wouldn't have had a satisfied feeling if I got to see James, but couldn't say anything to him................

 This picture makes me very excited. James + Minis!!! I love Minis. In my long and chequered car history I have had 5 'old' Minis and 3 'new' ones, working up to the Cooper S convertible that's my main car now. My very first car was a Mini, it had sliding windows and moss grew in the groove they slid in. I think it is a rally Mini James is driving in the trailer (that I can't find on YouTube, dammit!) where he shouts "No!" then does a snatch gearchange and shouts "Yes!" and I hope I'm right. Minis are so much fun to drive, you can't imagine until you've driven one. |

Slightly, off topic...ya know when James had his little fit in the airport in Texas in February? Do you think he was catching a connector from outside the US on his way home or do you think he was in the US for something? Houston and Dallas/Ft.Worth are big hubs for flights coming from So. Cal. going east. Do ya think it was TG related? That man needs to be Lo Jacked or GPS tagged. I'd hate to think I missed him.

He was going back home, he was specifically in Texas to film that moon buggy segment for the last episode of season 16. Being another American unlikely to ever run into him on my home turf though, I know what you mean. Plus I live in the midwest. We have corn and crappy weather. |

Not sure where this should go but I heard yday that the airforce want the land back were TG is filmed.It's a very sort after property and they want to flog it to the Americans or something.This was on the radio yday from someone who knows about about these things,if it's true who knows!!

Maybe it's one of those rumours that comes round annually Wasn't it going to be put up for sale last year for development land? |

At one point it was going to be the site of an 'eco-town'... until someone pointed out that there's no infrastructure in the surrounding area to support the traffic, population, education etc. of a town of the size they were planning to build, at which point the application was thrown out. And I have to say, I've been to Dunsfold several times for different things now, and it's a pain in the backside to get to - the transport links are hopeless unless you're driving, and they aren't the kind of roads that can easily be made bigger. The thing is, while I can understand why people might want to redevelop the site (despite its rather interesting history and the wealth of small and large businesses based there), the implications are far broader than just the aerodrome itself. For the sake of the people in the surrounding area, I hope it never happens.
