First rant coming up then. Just a short one but bl**dy annoying.
Why do teenagers have to shout, screech & shriek at each other? Why can't they just talk? It hurts my eardrums when they decide to do it just as I walk past them!

That's why I turned goth, our space is quiet and away from the other noisey teens. Why do the neds of Glasgow have to be soo violent

Rant No 2: Why is it illegal to use a 2 way adapter in a socket in a College? Obviously its FAR safer to have a trailing extension lead on a worktop NEXT TO A SINK with a kettle & coffee machine plugged into it. With 3 wires all getting tangled up & just WAITING to have water spilled all over them!!??

It's not just the neds in Glasgow Manson believe me
My sister is Emo for exactly the same reason.
She's actually got an old head on her shoulders for only being 16

It's not a college rule, it's apparently a health & safety rule, imposed on the College by the inspectors!

Ooh, just the place I've been looking for! *settles down with a brew for a rant* Why can't people talk properly in text messages? I know shortening words is useful eg: nite instead of night and so on.... but I received a message the other day and I couldn't understand a bloody word of it. I had to call the person and get them to explain! How difficult is it to speak proper English!!!

Even worse than that is people who e-mail in text talk! I can understand it (to a point) in text messages, where the number of characters in limited, but in an e-mail?

I have to admit I am one of those annoying people who text everything the proper way. I can't stand bad spelling or grammar. It takes me ages to write text messages now because I refuse to shorten words!

I'm a bit of each in text talk, because I'm old and clueless ;D and I try to be young and witty

Ok, my turn. Started back to work Monday all went well, (I work as a school caretaker by the way) I did my first shift went home and was called at dinnertime by the head moaning and ranting about some load of old rubbish again She's the sort of woman for whom nothing is right. You do 99% of everything right and she picks up on the 1% that's wrong, and it's always something really trivial. She's a little power mad witch and I've had enough of her, so I called my boss at the council (I work for the local council contracted to the school so the witch isn't even my boss!!!!) and asked for a transfer to another school which I've got and I start on Monday. You can imaging the pleasure I got from telling her I was leaving tomorrow ;D Thanks. Rant over

Yay managed to avoid and ignore X today. The closest I had to come to him was the office next to him, there was something wrong with my pay-check and it needed sorting out. But then all of the sudden, X walks in after a cup of coffee (the coffee machine is in the office I was in a that moment), another colleage then says to X "huh X you drinking coffee, you never drink coffee". So I think the reason for him drinking coffee was just to toy with me... I think he knows Stay tuned for more "X-files" next week

Lymaze was mentioning her near accident on the GM/GE thread & despite the fact i've not driven for nearly 10 yrs i have seen some very stupid things from being in the car with my mother (who has acquired some of her knowledge from police friends back in the days when she did store security) such as not indicating when going around or exiting roundabouts, not indicating when coming onto a motorway (something the police tend to despise), cutting one up on roundabouts, flashing her to go into the inner lane of a dual carriageway when she is already (only a bit ) exceeding the speed limit & they are doing well over the 60 speed limit. Why do people think a dual carriageway is a motorway? And then there are the wombles who have their foglights on when there is not only no fog but a clear night. Hellooooo. Sorry rant over. Plenty more where that came from but i'm too tired now.

I know Cheeselova. God knows we all make mistakes but some of it is just pig headedness or ignorance or I don't know what. The roundabout thing is a huge problem. I don't trust anyone anymore if they're not signalling. It's quite shocking what people do now.

As we were approaching a roundabout today, a complete donkey deceided to change lanes, resulting in him speeding up to beat us, then cutting us up! You know Jezza's loser pose? Well rearrange it slightly (finger and thumb rounded to O shape back and forth motion to and from forehead, you get the picture.) That was my o/h by the way! ;D
