Oh, I shan't be bothering to cover it up. It just annoys me I've been going grey since 22 as well. Lately, I say, let nature take it's course. I'm tired of dealing with it too.

Ok not sure if this should be on the Car section but id like a rant about foglights. Why do people not comprehend plain English. FOGlights. Hello use in times of extremely low visibility not when it's a full moon starry starry night? There are even those who have them on in the middle of the day when oh dear there's a little bit of rain. It's especially annoying & distracting on a rainy night. Why do they do this? Im not driving at present but being a frontseat passenger with my mum i know how off-putting & often temporarily blinding it can be when you've got some dickhead coming towards you with them on.
*wonders if the word "dickhead" is still being edited these days*

My rant is about older people acting like children. I am 22 and know two people in their 30's who have acted like kids recently saying bitchy things about others, sending really horrible emails and frankly it terrifies me. Life is too short. If you don't like somebody then don't speak to them. You can't change people anyway!

PayPal is a royal pain. For the past two days, I've been trying to set it up. Now I'm to the point where not only do I have to wait for my bank to show PayPal's transactions before I can get going, but I'm rubbish at figuring out sales taxes and shipping. The arty-farty and blog parts are all finished (those are what I'm best at), but the business part baffles me, frankly. I don't know what to use or how to find out what the sales tax percentage is going to be and I still need to find out how much shipping 5x7 and 8x10 photos is going to cost. I'm about to send PayPal a "help me" email. I'm lost and I don't want to mess this up or do something wrong. There - I needed to get that off my chest.

I warn you this could be long and in places incoherent, as my blood is still boiling! Ok so, at work today i almost went flying in the carpark as no-one bothered to grit it at all. I mean how long has this weather been going on now?? and how long has the thaw been happening?? Yet NO ONE thought to grit the place, considering this is a garden centre you would think they would have stuff like that about. Anyway after every member of the cafe staff almost fell over this morning, it was the turn of our oldest member of staff to arrive, who went crashing to the ground. Around the same time the chef of all people had the sense to go out and use all our dishwashing salt on the carpark, and found her laying in a heap on the ice. Blood everywhere and i mean she is 67, and fell on her hip. Our catering manager was a insensitive b**ch. Another member of cafe staff who was a first aider decided to take her to A&E, where later we found out she has "fractured" her hip So then all the managers gathered to cover their backs cause it is their bl***y fault and they know it! As the carpark is on a slope all the water gathers, by the back entrance where we go in, as there is NO drainage and it was still minus 1 at 9am this morning when it happened. And they know this happens but haven't bothered to sort it out. Just got back from the hospital, as i felt the need to visit her, as our insensitive, thoughtless, lazy, pointless of a manager hasn't told us anything. She is having an operation to have her hip replaced tomorrow I am fuming at this, and if it means me losing my job i don't care cause i hope they get what is coming to them rant over for now

thanks buddy i just want to cry about it. I wish it was me that fell and busted something, not her if they wriggle and worm their way out of taking responsibility i seriously will tell them, in no uncertain terms where to poke their job. our catering manager is a lazy rude cow, who should be......well best not say and the rest of them are just as bad!

Tui, I think she has a very good case for claiming against your (useless) employer. Hwever, it will be a few weeks before she feels up to it based on my hip replacement experience

Hugs Tui The internet I mean it's here and whilst I'm trying to do 'work' it just niggles and says 'Look at me!' maybe it should be renamed 'The Procrastinator-net' I recently heard about Twitter and thought whilst I was taking a moment out of working and drinking tea I'd have a looksy. I maybe just be a little bit hooked another thing I just have to check now It's fascinating who is on there:- Dave Gorman, Stephen Fry, and some others but honestly I'm sooo tragic....but there are plenty more like me out there ;D which is a great relief!

Don't worry, MG. I have the same thing going. I haven't looked at Twitter yet, but I may have to now. Tui, I'm sorry that happened. Hopefully she's healing and feeling better soon. I'm giving up on DT. I gave them one last chance and those bl**dy moderators have deleted my comment again. It should've already gone in, but it still hasn't. If James wants to know what I think of his articles anymore, he's going to have to look at the DT thread from now on, since I'm on DT's snub list for whatever reason, even though I didn't do anything wrong. Life's too short and I don't feel like going to the trouble just to be ignored again. It's as if I don't matter at all, and that's way too depressing.

Oh Tui, that's just awful! I came on this thread to whine about my wedding photographer, but it seems silly now. I hope the poor dear is feeling better. My mom broke her hip and knee when she was 69. She fell over some boxes in a store aisle. She is still recovering two and a half years later. My mom's retired and diabetic though, so hopefully your coworker will heal much, much quicker!

*huge hugs to you all* thank you all for your kind words and your concern xx :-*xx The op went well and she is on the mend. She is in good spirits and pretty much back to her normal self Hopefully she will be out of hospital in a week or so. She was told as she is very active she should make a fairly swift recovery if she behaves herself. *fingers crossed* Barbaramol, please rant and rave about your wedding photographer. My dog is being VERY mischievous and is being kicked back in the sin bin, so he can bite at her ankles and generally annoy her which he is very good at Yeah Twitter is a tad addictive *must find myself a life*

My rant tonight is over the fact that I'm STILL the unwilling keeper of the mobile phone I found on Saturday... despite promises by the owner to come and collect it, I'm still waiting... I'm sick to death of carrying it around in case they call to say they're coming round! Next time I see a lost phone, I'll leave it for some unscrupulous person to steal!

Tui, I'm glad your friend is recovering well. Is she going to try to take any action against your workplace? I think she ought to, a customer would do it, definately.

Ohh I have been well pigged off today! I'm a postie who today moved to a nearer depot That's good. But they sent me out on my first round on my own so I struggled to find all the houses, plus it was a massive round so I finished at 5.45 pm! I'm not doing this again. I'm only contracted for 25hrs, not full time and I'm seriusly bleeeped off !

Thank you Daisy, i don't know if she is, not sure if anyone has spoken to her about it. I don't think she would, but i believe her daughter isn't the type of person to just let this go! I hope they do take action. Ah Liz, you do the decent thing and get mucked about, don't blame you for being so angry, some people are just so.......grrrr!!!

Oh, Tui, your dog is in the sin bin again already?! He can gladly have my wedding photographer to take out his frustrations on, but maybe you need a visit from the dog whisperer to find out why he is being so naughty! Anyway, the photographer said that our parent books were ready last summer, but we'd have to pay $20 to have them shipped separate from our wedding album. I told her we've waited this long we can wait some more and have it all shipped together. Well, she sent us the parent books this week. It certainly didn't cost her $20 to do so and they weren't even right! She double-checked before she sent them and still mucked them up. In my parent's she skipped two pages so there were two blank pages in the middle. I fixed it, but come on! It should have been perfect. In the other, which was really just and extra since my father-in-law isn't a parent book kind of guy, she left a picture out. She truly sucks. Grrr. However, it was nice getting some pictures. I finally put a lovely picture of me and my husband dressed in our wedding finery kissing as we looked off into the sunset over the river in a frame we received as a wedding present. Awww. It looks so sweet. Finally!!! Now she just needs to send our wedding album and we'll be done with her.
