How is my fault that I can't afford to do something? I'm already in debt from my last stint in London. I just got a job but haven't started yet and my friend is mad because I refuse to go to London for New Years. I want to. More than I can put into words but she wants to fly Aer Lingus and stay in a hotel in Camden which is just way too much. There's no way I can afford it. I told her I couldn't afford the hotel, she said her Dad would pay for a room for her and I'd just be staying with her so I said okay I could probably stretch to flights over. Now she's saying I have to go halves on the room. There is no way I can do that. She's saying just start saving in January but I don't want to spend money before I've spent it. If we flew Ryanair and stayed in a hostel then okay but she's insisting on the most expensive of everything which is okay for her, it's being paid for for her. I just can't do it. Now I'm the bad one. How is that fair?

RANT RANT RANT!!
I just spent SIX hours inputting links onto my work's webpage only to click onto Save All and get kicked off!!!
Apparently the system logs off after a session of two hours, without any warning, so you can keep on working but you won't notice you got kicked off till you click some button!
So now I have to start my work all over again *fuming*
Fuming big time

My bloody laptop is dying on its arse. It keeps freezing up. I've had to restart it SIX times this evening so far! Grrrr... Why couldn't it have waited until the end of term? Better yet, why couldn't it have waited until the house was sold so I could afford a new one? It's not like I'm asking much, really. I've even seen the one I want. I think this one is jealous

DVDs that insist on telling you how dire it is if you have bought a pirate one and won't let you FF past the notice. If I have bought the wretched thing from Amazon or a shop I have not bought a pirated one and do not need to sit for ages waiting for them to finish pontificating.
And I've broken a nail, which is not related to DVDs at all, but is still a nuisance.

Ditto
AND I have to go out soon and buy paint - AND then I have to paint a whole room. I can see it far enough! Humph!

I've just finished painting the room and it's horrible!
Why can't I choose nice colours? I'm hopeless!
It's about ten shades darker than it looked on the tin and now I have to go sleep in there!

TOH is prevaricating and it's really pee-ing me off. I've been asking him for three days straight to go up into the loft and fetch one box down for me. He knows I can't get into the loft myself, because I'm too short to get through the loft hatch from the top of the tiny ladder. He keeps making pathetic excuses as to why he can't go up there for five minutes and find this one box for me. And to make matters worse. HE'S the one who put the box in there in the first place, even though I always tell him not to put my stuff into the loft, because i won't be able to get it out myself........ARGH! I'm starting to think that he wants, or needs, me to be dependent on him, and does stuff like this so that I have to ask him to help me. I, on the other hand, would rather do it myself. Maybe I should just buy a longer ladder.

This is kind of a wee moan really, Paisley got snow, East Kilbride got snow, we're sandwiched in the middle and we got ice! Honestly, the whole of Glasgow was like one big ice rink. Very funny watching people trying to go to school though ;D We decided to get a lift, but out car spun out in the middle of the road and crashed into some bins... And a few of my mates where taken to hospital to check for concusion because they had fallen really badly and hit there heads. And for some reason the cold made my thumb split open

When I got on the bus this evening there was no ice. When I got off, there was! It very nearly had me sitting on the pavement looking silly & having a sore bum!

Thank you to best mate for the loan of the wellies yesterday ... We looked a right pair of clampets braving the ice, but the giggle we had was worth it! ;D (It's just a shame she fell down this morning, when there was no ice ;D)

Right to begin. Hopeless Parcel Force people who aren't helpful and tell me 'I know you are angry' (I wasn't I was frustrated as 4 parcels from a large order had gone missing) this doesn't help the situation one bit. Grrr. However the account manager was really helpful and the parcels turned up ;D You have no idea the relief! Success however were no fighting/bickering occurred during a completion of a massive order (for us anyway) which we started at 3pm this afternoon and finished a hour ago I'm shattered! This order goes out tomorrow. That's it. Until tomorrow.................

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE IN THE BLOODY LIBRARY JUST SHUT THE **** UP?! Believe it or not, after an initial period of quietishness, the place is now heaving and the noise levels are becoming intolerable. I appreciate lots of people have deadlines but I simply can't work through this racket

*screams* I have a grey hair! I'm only 32! How can I have a grey hair already? Where's the evil smiley? I had grey hairs at age 22. Embrace the change or spend the rest of your life lining the pockets of hairdressers just to conform to the acceptable. When I think how much money I have saved NOT having roots done every 4 weeks.........

My daughter has blonde hair and every so often we find a dark brown strand in it. Isn't that odd?

I've been greying since my early 20s too. You get used to it.
Personally, I get used to it using Boots own brand multi-tonal hairdyes...

RANT! I bought a die cast bike at 1:6 scale for my father on amazon. I hadn't noticed it was a second hand one but that's ok only I got the bike today and it's a completely different one and a tiny one as well. The guy who sold it to me said oh it was a mix up and I'm all out of stock on the one you wanted! I am SO angry! It was a 20inch and 3 lbs weighing bike! How on EARTH can you mix that up with something 1/3 of the size and weight???

How rubbish is that? Especially this close to Christmas....I know they'll have more chance of selling out at this time, but to just send you 'something else' is really not on, is it?
