I'm still reading, Dit. I just don't have anything useful to add. Which is unusual....

Good to see you, amie8! Apparently James was filming earlier today at The Kent and East Sussex Railway. They're asking for anyone with photos to send them, twitter or www.kesr.org.uk/James may also be learning something about how to handle (or otherwise) the public. Someone posted this message Just seen James May at Tenterden steam railway station! He was filming but went and hid when everyone got off. Don't blame him!

Yep, I believe it's on 107.0 from 11am - 4pm. Funny, I can't find a station listed on that frequency in that area. Is there anyone in MK who can record it?

So...either James got lost on his way to Milton Keynes, Rory's pulled the wrong plug, or I'm listening to the wrong radio station. Or I keep tuning in at the wrong time. Or I've got the wrong time entirely. (Options C-E quite possible.)
(Continued) Option F: fans have cornered them at the pub and they can't get out. Option G: they're wasting time so that James can successfully avoid the Love-Life-101 segment. ;D Option H: is there such a thing as August Fools Day?

Or I've got the wrong time entirely. (Options C-E quite possible.) Same here. There's nothing new on the 'Man Lab' Twitter feed, just the original Tweet saying they would be on Milton Keynes radio 107FM today between 11am and 4pm.

Don't really know what's going on, Pie (in general, not just today!) but it seems that FM broadcasts are "trial broadcasts" which they can only do a couple of times a year because they don't have a full license yet. Obviously, they've given over some of their precious FM time to Manlab, but as the 107 frequency is for local stations only, I can only get some old codgers playing music much too young for them from a studio round the corner from my house.
And as I don't live near Milton Keynes, that ain't James.
To be fair, Manlab did only say "tune in if you're in the MK area", but a few disgruntled JM followers have posted comments on the radio station website, and tweeted a few to Manlab.

Hmm. I tweeted Man Lab before the last scheduled show and they said that they'd happily call foreigners during the show if they registered. This made me assume that it could be heard pretty much anywhere. (Cyberspace is also broadcasting old codgers introducing, erm, "music".)
On the plus side, I did have a laugh when they played "Hit 'Em Up Style" about five minutes ago. New Man Lab theme song? ;D
Edit: I had the MKFM website open and just went to close it...the moderator has cleared the chat room content. #Ooh

MKFM has used 107 in the past but is only allowed to for 28 days at a time (it's amazing what you can find on Google) and they are presently online only. The 107 FM wavelength is used for experimental (very) local broadcasts, and presumably James has booked a day for his broadcast. I reckon it will only be available in a very small area around MK.

That's really annoying if that is the case. They could have mentioned that small bit of information...it would have saved many people the bother of tuning in. But on the plus side (again), I know where to go if I need a Honda or a cake. ;D

To be fair, they did say several times they would be broadcasting in the Milton Keynes area.

The only thing I know about Milton Keynes, having driven through it just once in my life, is that it appears to be the international refuge centre for runaway roundabouts. I'm not surprised he ended up in the pub.

You've got to admire a man who has eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and still caves in to a McDonalds at the end of the working day. No, make that two McDonalds. He's a growing lad, after all.

Bad news my US friends. When asked by @citrussage on Twitter May, are you ever going to answer the question about man lab coming to the US? I read those rumors too.
James' response was It is not coming yet, but we might do a special in the US if we're allowed to and can afford it. #SoDontStayUpWaiting

According to James's twitter, work is still under way for Man Lab. And he addressed something else I think a few of us might have noticed... "I've just been doing the voice-over for Manlab. I look a bit fat in it. #ApologiesInAdvance"

Thanks for that, bee. I like these little insights, especially the fact that the theme has never actually been committed to paper.
