Aww, nice to feel missed. I've had some other interests kind of take over plus the past few weeks have been insane. This stupid headache still refuses to die.

I think after he found the remote, he was planning to be otherwise engaged.

Jacqui, I'm quite certain that James dropped everything to rush to your side bringing pain killers, consoling words and warm hands! Your trapped nerve sounds horrible, and I hope you have some relief soon from the pain. Dr May's special devotions will help, I'm sure.

Jacqui, have you had an MRI? I had a pinched nerve in my neck and I had an MRI to see what was causing it. The MRI showed arthritis in one of the cervical vertebrae, but the pain has since abated; thank goodness!
Anyone ever had a pulled muscle in the back so painful that you couldn't stand or sit comfortably? I am suffering like h**l and I'll be darned as to how this happened!

I hope you get better soon Lynnemezzo I am okay now get the odd twinge but nothing major. I work at a GP surgery so one of them who specialises in backs had a poke around... so to speak.. He ruled out a trapped nerve and diagnosed a badly pulled muscle. He gave me some advice, keep moving, gentle exercise such as walking and ibuprofen and sure enough it has eased immensely. It was agony for a few days there though so i sympathise with you and wish you better, call Dr May he helps a lot too ;D

Hope it relaxes soon. Have a back problem where I can do anything except stand in one spot for any length of time. Weird.

Finally went to the doctor about the muscle spasms and pains. I'm a little anxious about muscle relaxants; anyone ever taken them? Side effects? Did they help? I'm still in a lot of pain!

I've taken flexeril and it didn't help but it depends on the dose. It should be ok. The idea being to relax that muscle and sleep.

I have a sore throat but i thought that i had the flew because my muscles hurts. But next to that,my knees are killing me because i sat on my knees in the freezer at work. I did that a whole week and now they are hurting a lot. I almost haven't slept in 3 day's because of that. Never knew it could hurt so much. Lucky i found some good pain killers this morning. But i feel so weird because of the medication for my throat and then the painkillers :s. Glad i'm home today.

I hate to ask Melly, but why did you sit on your knees in the freezer for a week? Sorry but I am really curious as to what job entails doing that!! I hope you feel better soon, poor thing.

I mean every day for a week but not a whole day ;D Sorry my bad. I work in a supermarket and i'm taking out bread and bakery stuff. I'm not sure it's because of that but i know my knees had a lot of cold air. Also when i sleep,my knees aren't covered with a blanket . I don't know what else it can be ?!

Oh I see. Well cold can cause your joints to ache, but usually only in old ducks like me, not in youngsters like yourself. Maybe you do have the flu...that causes achey joints. Keep them warm at night!

That sounds exactly the same as my job, Melly! You should get one of those thick rubbery kneeling pads - that's what I do when I'm in the freezer at work. More often though, I have to climb up the racking (naughty!) because some fools think it's a good game to put the things I need right at the top of the racks. We have no ladder, and no gloves, so my hands get a little chilly.

Oh yes,i know that feeling. I'm so tiny and the others at my work are very tall so the boxes are very high. I have gloves but i know i am a girl that sits a lot on her knees. But it's weird, they only hurt at night when i want to sleep. Over the day they just feel tired. I'm a bit worried.

Melly- Gee that's awful you feel so achy and I'm sure it's disturbing your sleep which makes you feel worse. I can see why you think it's the flu. I guess it might be something viral. Doctors have a hard time diagnosing viral things. They usually just ignore them until it becomes really obvious what it is. The last time I felt like that I had Mononucleosis. Feed yourself well, rest as much as possible and try a NSAID like ibuprofen or naproxen sodium. I hope it goes away soon.
