Oh me too, I've always wanted to be able to swoon well and have a handsome man weep over my still warm body *joins the weird club also*

"Pulmonary TB was romanticized in the arts and music of the 19th century. The deaths of Mimi in Puccini’s La Boheme and Satine in Moulin Rouge are portrayed as romantic, tragic events, but end-stage pulmonary TB is anything but glamorous, and Mimi and Satine exposed everyone around them to danger with each breath. The dying consumptive faced night sweats and chills, paroxysmal cough, spread of the disease to other organs of the body, and of course, the wasting away that led helpless bystanders to name the disease “consumption”." Thank you, Professor Clarkson.... I didn' t know that she dies of consumption in Moulin Rouge. We have rented that film...I must have fallen asleep My grandfather died of TB - it ain't nice. Meanwhile, I have finally succumbed to the cold that's going around. Why is it that you always seem to get ill when you are off work? typical

It's a busy time at the May Hospital. Perhaps we need to draft in Drs Stig and Wilman as well.

LOL. ;D There's only one quarantine room and I'm in it. By the window, in my white dress, Dr Clarkson placing flowers at my feet. (I'm ill - let me dream! ) Although I should say Dr, my right ear is now completely blocked so i think it might be a wrong diagnosis.
