Yes, might be too much of a sacrifice. Not sure I want to go that much. Lew needs to be in the Cold Clinic - wrapped up in a big duvet and fur, and a roaring log fire with Dr May tending to her need.

Too young for the Hospital? No Manson it's OK, we'll admit anyone. ;D Oh too young for Top Gear. You are very tall - I am sure you don't have to take your passport with you do you?

I've just got out of a real hospital where I had lots of nasty tests, CT scan, lumbar puncture, etc, nothing bad was found but I'm still v. poorly. Could Dr May be spared to hold my hand and soothe my fevered brow? Nothing too strenuous as I'm under strict orders to rest!

Perhaps he could sit by your bedside and read, and occasionally check your pulse. Hope you are better soon.

I have a terrible dry cough which gets worse at night so I need to be watched in case I...er.... run out of cough medicine. Dr Clarkson, I understand you are on the night shift tonight so I will be in need of your specialist care.

*Patient XJ admits herself to the Hospital* The casino was short staffed today, so everyone was doing longer than usual stints at the gaming tables. I need Dr May to massage my shoulders, and the base of my spine, as they're still aching a bit. Ooooh, the thought of James massaging my lower back.... ;D

I'm here for life, not just for Christmas I think. Cough is most definitely consumption, I am not long for this world. Dr Clarkson - take me to the window one last time so I can see the moors. (My fav line from Wuthering Heights film!! Swoons in to dead faint.)

For some reason, probably because I am slightly morbid, I have always found consumption romantic. Obviously it isn't - it is extremely horrible. When I was a kid I also wanted Scarlett Fever.
