Did anyone in the UK watch Endeavour? It's about Inspector Morse as a young man. I loved John Thaw and the series. I'm downloading it now.

The new series of Time Team just started on Channel 4. Its formula never changes, they still get excited about the same sort of things, especially so when the word 'ritual' is uttered, but I still sit for an hour in absolute fascination every week. Great stuff!

Good point. I notice Tony Robinson is now co-presenting. That Drinking Game was hilarious, if I'd ever actually done it I think I would have been comatose by the first advert break!
Is there a Top Gear Drinking Game on here anywhere? I seem to remember reading one a long time ago, but I can't rememebr whether it was on the JMB or not.

Just finished laughing myself silly at another episode of An Idiot Abroad 2. Not as good as the first season but still full of ridiculous situations. In episode 6 Karl has found himself amongst some of the US loonies. Hee hee, yea! Poor moaning Karl. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw5CQ6TchAw

The Graham Norton Show - Alan Davies and Patrick Stewart are on.
Can anyone give me the sat-nav co-ordinates for the Adultery thread?
(Once upon a time there were three brothers quite close in age - Stephen (the oldest), James then Alan. It was clear they were brothers by their familial resemblance; Stephen Fry, James May, Alan Davies)

I'm watching the episode where they go to the auction for the car on the timed course. It's on BBCA. Yes I do see the resemblance between the 3.

I've definitely noticed the resemblance with Alan lately. Especially since he's been letting his hair grow out again. This latest series of QI was very 'enjoyable' to watch. ;D

This isn't exactly what I'm watching as much as it is what I would like to be watching.
Australian television, specifically ABC is showing, I believe on Friday nights, the Miss Fisher Mysteries. I love this series of books by Kerry Greenwood.
Would any of the members from Australia be able to provide me with a download/upload link for this series? I would be eternally grateful! For myself as well as several members of my reading group - we are dying to see it!

I don't know if the ABC's iView is like the BBC's iPlayer, in that you can't view it in other countries, but here's the link to it in case it works: www.abc.net.au/iview/#/series/3438051Not sure where else to find a link for it. I can always record the new episodes and somehow get them to you.

Thanks for the link, Pie, but it works just like iplayer. I don't live in Australia so it's a no-go. I think I remember reading somewhere that thebox.bz was starting an Australian version. I'll have to wander about the interwebs and see if I can find it. I just may take you up on the recording possibility, Pie!! ;D Thanks for trying!! ;D ;D

I really don't like anything on TV nowadays..... I feel rather the same. Everything seems to be dull. I just tend to watch dvds. I love comedy but even that's panned off a little since the demise of digital tv. Lots of choice, but bugger all to watch. It's rubbish. My only love of the weeks were top gear, have i got news for you and peep show. Until they return, I am bored I would rather listen to music ad interweb things these days

Have you tried In Plain Sight. It is funny and serious. There are some decent shots of Albuquerque as well. Mary McCormack is great.

Well, Ive have been utilising the BBC Global Iplayer app on my ipad and have been watching lots of "a bit of Fry and Laurie" which has had me in hysterics and can understand why Stepheny Fry gets mistaken as James May at times.
ABC here in Australia on Sunday night have been showing Fry's Planet Word which is very interesting and I need to get on the abc iviewer and catch up on the past two episodes and the beginning of the one last night.
Other than that I have been watching my Ross Noble Dvd's getting pschyed up to see him live on Saturday night in Newcastle (NSW). Oh and last night I started watching James May's Big Ideas.

Those are some great shows, pesepheny18! Love Fry & Laurie!! ;D ;D
And good news on the Miss Fisher Mysteries! I found the sister website to thebox.bz. It's empire.bz. They have all the Fish mysteries and then some.
Thank you, Pie for offering to help. And thank you pesepheny for your pm!! ;D ;D ;D
I think I'll be all set! Now I just have to figure out how to burn these downloads to a disc so the other members of the book club can watch them too. #TechnologyBah!!
