The only problem I had with the two 'inns' was that one only had vacancies for Fri and Sat... the other only had Sat and Sun, but I couldn't book just the Sat, so I went for the inn that had the two preferable nights... could only think they had a two night minimum policy?... I booked online, have you tried phoning them?

I just checked the Sandiway one, which says its full The Premier Inn website is a bit crap, the Sandiway one is a few miles out of the town but the Northwich South one is on the southern edge of the town, much closer than the Sandiway one! It's more exensive, but that's the one that had rooms a couple of weeks back.

Just checked Premier Inn site again... it's still saying that you can book a Fri and Sat at South Inn, or Sat and Sun at Sandiways, but if you search just the Sat night, it tells you both are full!... as I posted above, maybe they just have a two night minimum stay that weekend because of Thundersprint?

Thundersprint 2007 was on Men & Motors again last night. Sorry I had no way to let anyone know, I didn't find out myself until 3 minutes before! I assume it won't be the last showing tho', with this year's event looming?

Would any of you sports moped riders like to race in the actual Thundersprint? We find that we have some space in the 50cc class. Your bikes are eligible in road trim but riders would need an ACU approved helmet, once piece leathers, leather boots and gloves. Riders can purchase a one-day race licence at the event.
If you want to have a go and why not I would love someone of here to participate.
Please contact:- info@thundersprint.com or 01928740498 tell them Lionel sent you

Sadly I neither own a sports moped or a one piece leather thing, but can I phone Lionel anyway to say I'd be more than happy to jump on the back of any bike.......I'm not fussy ;D

I'm planning on going up there by bike, but mine's a bit too big for the moped class! And I don't have one piece leathers. Can't check if my helmet's ACU approved as it's in Chepstow with the bike!

There definitely was a Boots in Northwich - I left half my makeup at home, so it was pretty much my first stop when I got there last year!
