Of course! I was on the thread that inspired that one when the ITV coverage ended!

You are right, if it was you who mentioned it, that it has to be the original and not some horrid modernised version of the song.

More good news. Honda F1 Racing Team (I think that's the right order, the words are right anyway), which was looking to be on decidedly shaky ground, has been saved! Ross Brawn has bought them out and they will be on the grid for the Australian GP under the name 'Brawn GP' (unless it changes to 'Brawn F1', which is possible). Looks like the cars will be Merc poweed (the terms of sale appear to have required a change from the Honda engines) and the drivers will be Rubens Barichello and Mr 'I Used To Be Popular Before Lewis Hamilton Came Along' himself, Jenson Button. This makes me happy. I have a big soft spot for Jenson, because he's a Westcountry lad and he seems a bit dopey (it's probably the accent that does it - we all sound a it daft down here). And I'd miss his dad lurking around the pit lane looking like he wants to nick the tyres when nobody's looking. So yay, Jenson has a drive! What makes me even happier is that it looks like jobs at the team are secure, for the time being at least. So yay for that too

I think the fact that Richard Branson and Virgin are now on board and Jenson got pole for Melbourne are both very promising signs for the team. They need some good news and good luck, seems to be starting........

Ashamed to say, I'm an F1 'virgin'... so excited, only got 'general admission tickets', but don't care! Would rather that, than be tied to a seat in a grandstand?

Liz - I was thinking of Silverstone this year but I am having a problem finding accommodation - other than camping - where are you staying? You can PM me if you like I am planning on the Monaco GP next year - considering I live in Oz it will cost a bomb but I think it will be worth it. I loved Monaco when I was there a couple years ago, and love motorsport so I am justifying it like that haha

Thanks to Gareth Jones on Speed I've discovered another wonderful waste of time. It's a little flash game called Max's Regulation Juggling. You get to help Max Mosley juggle the rules until everything goes boom, and it's a lot trickier than it looks ;D

That's hilarious! Which reminds me, I have to see if Sniff Petrol's been updated yet. I like the little Schumaker captions.

I've finished reading the new Sniff Petrol....the article about Twitter for the automotive industry had me in stitches, as well as the Hyundai "advertisement." Thank goodness for the Sniff Petrol archives...I ended up reading this issue, the second story to be specific, and almost had a nasty accident with my beverage.
