In a ruling that could have major implications on the outcome of the 2009 World Championship, the International Court of Appeal has ruled that the diffusers of Brawn GP, Toyota and Williams are legal.
Yay! ;D

Yaaay Jenson. Although I was quite surprised they didn't rule against, simply because it's a Brit who is winning.

Ross Brawn had warned them about all the loopholes in the regulations - but did they listen? Noooooooooooo. So happy that it was found to be "legal" - watch them all flock to that diffuser now. Hamilton is fastest in practise but Jenson is second

I agree Wy, as much as I love Jenson, it's nice to see a few more names thrown into the mix... a Red Bull 1 and 3, roll on tomorrow morning!

Mark Webber qualified 3rd, YEAH! SO happy about that ;D I hope it can translate into a good race result/podium. That is if no one hits him off the track and his car doesn't break in any way.........

SPEED Channel in the US airs the F1 races live. The coverage isn't up to par with the BBC (the commentators aren't actually at the race, there's adverts, and worst of all we don't get to hear "The Chain"), but they do re-air any race that's on during the night later on in the day. I see they're doing that again with the Chinese GP, even though I cheated and read the results. Jenson Button's kinda cute, actually.

I've always like Jenson, though for the last few years it has mostly been in a 'oh gawd, what's the twit done now,' kind of way. I'm really glad to see him on the podium.
But it was a VERY good day for the Brits all round today. And great to see Red Bull doing so well! This season has had an extremely interesting start. I was massively sceptical when they brought in all the changes, but it really has shaken everything up and that has made me a very happy race fan ;D

I feel younger viewers need to be protected from some things though - they're normally so secretive about where F1 cars come from, but Robert Kubica's BMW seemed quite rampantly interested in Jarno Trulli's Toyota at one point. I've never seen cars mating before...
