So far - personally I wouldnt mind if it stayed like that for the rest of the season, Ferrari and McLaren need a rest from all the winning and podiums and polls lol

I may have said this already, but I have only just begun to notice what an attractive man Mark Webber is. It's nice to have someone to support for the shallow reason of fancying them again and now I have two.

We are such a gorgeous loveable bunch 'Down Under' LOL

I had a very interesting conversation about F1 politics yesterday. Turns out a girl I've been working with is the daughter of one of Brawn GP's designers! He works closely with Ross Brawn and was at Ferrari with him, and apparently they were a great company to work for when Christmas arrived because they used to get amazing gift hampers full of Italian designer malarkey. Does go to show how true that bizarre '6 degrees of separation thing' is, though!

Wow that is very cool!
The six degrees of seperation is bizarre - I have a one "one" degree of seperation and two, "two" degress of seperation with Jeremy. Too bad they wont ever become a "no" degree of seperation lol

I'm currently making a media project based on the emotional struggles between one love of one sport and one love for the other, in this case AFL and Motorsport (Supposedly F1). I know it sounds weird, but it's supposed to be a funny opinion piece about my loyalty for two sports.

Well we've been there done that with Frawley and the inevitable is gonna happen with Wallace. But when? And if we get a new coach (assuming it's Nathan Buckley or Kevin Sheedy, though that's unlikely), they're gonna scrap the veterans. That means no Richo, Cousins, Browny, Simmonds, Johnson. Well that's what the 'experts' are saying.
Anyway, back to topic.

To be on topic - here is the winner at a fashion parade in Monaco a couple days [before/i] he won:
Off topic: Three Richmond fans - poor us! Perhaps the reason why so many TG fans like Richmond is because the team is also "ambitious but rubbish" ;D

Dear Lewis Hamilton,
You've had it. Jenson is champion. Give up now.

Yeah, took Lewis 2 whole seasons to become world champion. Now remind me, how long has Jensen been at it? He's had enough practice after all these years at being a play boy playing follow my leader

The boy has come of age Inky. In oh so many ways. I'm glad for him myself. He can get it this year then Lewis can come back and win it next.

I think it has more to do with the machinery they are driving as opposed to their driving skills.
Jenson hasn't come huge leaps and bounds in his driving skill from last season to this one, but the car he is driving is like night and day - Ross Brawn was the one who was around when Michael Schumacher had his 7 world championships so I think most of the credit should go to him.
On the same train of thought, Lewis Hamilton hasn't suddenly lost his driving talent from last year, its just that his car isn't the best one out there now.
Unfortunately, in modern motorsport, its not the best driver who wins, it is the one with the best package that can keep on the track. You could have the best driver in an unreliable car and he wont be winning, but an average driver in the best car, will be. I see this in V8 Supercars too.

True, although if you have both it means you are on to a near 100% likely championship win. There are plenty of excellent cars (Ferrari in the past for example) with good drivers who have failed after all. I think if Jenson Button was an average driver he'd probably only be in the top 5.

I'm not saying he is an average driver, I just don't think that, despite all his wins (and I am a fan of his) that he is necessarily as much of a better driver than the other guys out there as the results may portray.
He does however, without a doubt, currently has the best car out there so naturally the results follow.
