From the nice ladies with whips who keep threatening to punish him if he doesn't do as he's told...

Stunning qualis today, very pleased with the grid positions for tomorrow. Another Brawn v Red Bull race!
Fantastic to see Lewis finally getting the car he deserves... now if they can work the same magic with Kovalienen's car?
Have to say, Rubens stopped my heart with his lap in Q2... he's one crazy guy! ;D

I've been out all day, but I have to say, it all sounds like it's getting a bit more interesting at last ;D

Oh, it is... Webber drove the lap of his life and, true to form, both Brawns delivered amazing lap times right at the last minute! And as for Lewis?

I'm just so pleased Lewis is looking competitive again. That car has been a bag of nails so far this season, and he's so much better than that.

And Kovalienen's car is next for the upgrades, only shortness of time prevented them having his car ready too, but I guess the reigning champ had to take precedence?

Kovaleinan is only one place behind Lewis on the grid, even without the upgrades and AFAIK both the McLarens still have KERS fitted so the start could be crucial. Should be very interesting and the last update I saw on BBC2 is that rain is forecast for parts of the race. Roll on tomorrow

Yeah, 40% chance of rain tomorrow, today was only 20% Q2 had me screaming... Rubens' lap was sensational! ;D

So, so happy for Mark Webber. He deserved that, and he looks like the happiest man alive. Looking forward to the Feel sorry for Adrian Sutil though - that's twice Kimi's done that to him. Brawn could have had a better race, perhaps, but the other teams are catching up, technology wise - at least it keeps things interesting! And Webber just said he "wanted to win so badly..." Well, sorry, mate, but you just won really WELL!

Yep, congratulations to Mark, a very deserved win (and one happy bunny!) Sorry for Lewis, the bad luck just doesn't stop! And as for the BrawnGP strategy, don't get me started, I was heartbroken for Rubens... they got it VERY badly wrong today!

Rubens was a very unhappy chappy at the end of the race Well done to Mark (even if he did nearly take Rubens and Lewis out at the start )

And I could have done without DC and EJ's disapproving comments afterwards... whilst I appreciate it wasn't great protocol, he was totally spot-on with what he said... you go Rubens!

I really felt for Rubens. Wanted to slap Eddie Jordan, though, and DC should have bitten his tongue too. Brawn are going to need to have a bit of a rethink if they're going to do well for the rest of the season, because I think some of the other teams are beginning to catch up with them in terms of the development of the cars and there's not a man on the grid that isn't a great driver when given the right car. They've all worked their way up through other championships and Formulas, and you don't get selected for F1 without talent. BrawnGP cannot afford to rest on their laurels just yet.

Just been watching Ross Brawn's reaction. He has the nerve to mention Rubens' loyalty to the team... the irony isn't lost on me!

So pleased for Mark too and shocked at what RB said, although I didn't watch all of the race so no idea what really happened. Looks like it's anyone's race at present which keeps it interesting. Poor Lewis though - this is his worse year I should think.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO SO SO happy for Mark Webber - he really deserved the win. Despite being in Townsville to work at a V8 Supercar race and the after party being on at the same time, we all saw the race. Big group of motorsport lovers very happy

RIP Henry Surtees 'Henry Surtees, 18, son of F1 champion John Surtees, has died after he was knocked unconscious having been struck on the head by a wheel that had flown off the car of Jack Clarke, a fellow competitor, in a preceding crash. Surtees' car then collided with the barrier on the approach to Sheene Curve.'My thoughts are with his family.

RIP Henry. 18 is far, far too young to go.
