That's very sad news. RIP Henry, far too young, though if you have to go so young, it's better to go doing something you love

Yes me too Liz. What a terrible and unlucky accident. Let's pray that Felipe will be ok.

Yes, let's hope he recovers well. I couldn't help but think it was a very similar accident to the one that killed the young driver last weekend.

Encouraging news this morning. Felipe's undergone two brain scans, both clear.
He's currently in an induced coma, and will be for the next 48 hours.

Here's hoping he's soon on the mend. It's easy to forget just how dangerous motorsport is at times, and weeks like this are a painfully sharp reminder. Very glad the news from Hungary is positive this morning, and his family are with him. As his Ferrari colleagues would put it, Forza Felipe.

A difficult weekend, but I had a feeling Lewis was going to be back on the podium soon, given the way he's been improving recently. Glad to see it - it's great to see a different team winning and glad to see Lewis in a decent car.

Yaaay. But come on Jenson too.

Absolutely! Jenson and Rubens. Hoping they manage to get the cars sorted before everything shuts down for the summer... Still, on the bright side, Jenson managed to get a couple more points on the board and Vettel didn't, so that helps a bit.

Positive signs for Massa - thank god!
So happy for Webber - second in the championship is brilliant. As much as I wanted Jenson to win the championship I can't help but wish Mark could catch him then beat him in the end. Would take a lot for that to happen though.
Either way as long as those two are in the top two at the end of the year I will be happy ;D

Good news - the doctors in Hungary have just said Felipe Massa is now out of danger, and is stable. However, he has sustained damage to his eye and this might have implications for his future as a driver. Still, he is recovering, and that's the main thing.

The FIA are using BMW's withdrawal from the championship next season as an excuse to crow about not getting their own way on the proposed budget changes. www.fia.com/en-GB/mediacentre/pressreleases/f1releases/2009/Pages/f1_bmw.aspxIt's a bit patronising and creepy the way they've basically said, "It's OK, BMW, we know you've fallen on hard times... we would have loved to help, but you know... FOTA thought they knew better than us. Anyway, we'll miss Robert Kubica's terminally dreadful hair and Nick Heidfeld's Joy of Sex beard, but dem's de breaks. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out, love Max and Bernie"

Can't remember what Heidfeld looks like Just seen on the Beeb that Schumey is back for the Spanish GP He was the reason I went of F1 (too predictable) but in the current situation I can't wait to see what happens ;D ;D methinks Jensen might bottle it

Yeah, great news... and as I've just seen tweeted 'Schumacher with a KERS button!' He'd better not get too comfy tho', Felipe's making a miraculous recovery! ;D

The thought of Schumey v. Lewis is brilliant and if the Ferrari has KERS Can't wait

It's very exciting! I do think it might give Jenson something to worry about - but then again, if someone other than Red Bull is winning, this is good for Brawn. They may yet rue the choice of white for their suits though...
And Schumi v Lewis... that's a fight that should be worth seeing.

Wow. Stig is doing F1 again. How wonderful. Even though he used to annoy the hell out of me (although I admire anyone who cheats to win really ), I'm looking forward to this even more. Certainly will make things interesting. Will he inherit Massa's points or start at zero?

PMSL @ Schumacher's agent's comment yesterday claiming that it wouldn't be Schumi replacing Massa!!!!! Schumi's said he's doing this out of team loyalty - good on you, mate!
WHOO HAA!!!!! Kitty's a happy bunny!!!!!
BREAKING NEWS: Massa is out of Intensive Care!

It's important to keep a bit of perspective here - Schumi hasn't been declared race fit yet, and it's been a while since he raced an F1 car. His form looked pretty good on Top Gear the other week, and I would expect it to be a formality, but there is still a chance that this may not happen. Fingers crossed it does, though.
And excellent news about Massa. May his recovery continue unabated. Forza Felipe!

I know he had a bike accident earlier this year but he still looks pretty fit so I'm sure he will pass the medical. It does sound like he is on the road to recovery. Fingers crossed for Felipe

Shuey v Button v Hamilton v Vettel v Webber - I wish I could get a ticket for this. It has the makings of the best race for years and years.
He will be fit enough - he has done hundreds of laps in the old car and Bernie wont let it NOT happen. I am hoping for a podium for the greatest F1 driver of all time.
