Well I don't drive (unless driving people mad counts) but my Grandad had lots of cars. He had, from what family told me, A Morris Traveller, a Ford Anglia amongst others. The first car of his I remember was a pale blue metallic looking Datsun Cherry. I am not too sure now of the exact model but it was a 2 door version and I think it looked like this one members.fortunecity.com/mang01/Nissan/images/Mvc-399f.jpgAfter that he had 2 different Ladas. They were awful cars but for some reason he liked them. The first one was a Lada Riva Estate in blue like this one upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/25/Lada_Riva_estate_Cambridge.jpg and then he had a Lada Samara like this one digilander.libero.it/cuoccimix/pic__filename__666.jpg Then he got a Proton somethingorother it was a rusty orange colour. Then, while he owned that car, he had to stop driving because he discovered he had Parkinson's Disease. I loved going out in the car with my Grandad, because a lot of the time it was just me and him and it was fab! I miss him lots. I used to love most tagging along with him to the petrol station and what I used to do was open the window because someone somewhere had always spilt some on the forecourt and I loooooooved the smell of the petrol, the old leaded 4star. The unleaded stuff we have now just isn't the same. LOL! My (new) Uncle, Ken, he has had lots of cars too, but the only ones of his I have known, from when he became a member of the family, were a Skoda Octavia like this one, only in orange imshopping.rediff.com/pixs/productsearch/product_images/four_wheeler/Skoda-Octavia-LK.jpg then he got a silver Kia saloon, don't know which one it was. It was a hateful car, I could never take to it. And it didn't like me either! Now he has a black Mitsubishi Lancer Elegance like this one 146.101.159.91/UsedCarPics/8229_01wj08vzl.JPG and in a fortnight or so, he will be taking delivery of a 2009 Honda CRV ES like this one www.honda.co.uk/cars/cr-v/ in the silver blue colour with the diesel engine. Looking forward to having a spin around in that one! Oh and Fayzal, don't worry, I would love to have a ride in a Jeremy.

The newest member of our family. Okay, it's not most people's cup of tea, but I've developed an emotional attachment to it already. My 2003 Nissan Privera. It's got six gears, a great stereo and AC system, great pick up, very smooth and quiet ride, plenty of seating and boot space, and decent petrol/gas mileage.

Aww, hello to Mojo's new beep! Nice blue colour! So, if it was you, you didn't get a Golf after all.

Nope. As much as I wanted one, no one was selling one second hand. There was a VW dealer in Bury, but the prices were way out of our range. Oh, well. My husband keeps threatening to get rid of his Laguna, so maybe he'll get lucky.

Aww, maybe one of the dealers will do part exchange. I think in the current climate it is a good time to bargain.

Maybe. We'll have to see when his car comes due for MOT and if he's still having car fever.

Anyway, my car is a little 02 Fiat Seicento S in bright green I'm not keen on the colour...but it's easy to spot in a car park! Plus it's my first car and I've had it since I was 17 so I do love it I will post a pic when I can. EDIT: Actually tis just like this one.....

Hi Honilia, Yeah, our town is about 15 to 20 miles away from Bury. I always enjoy my visits there when we can catch the bus. Over the last few years, it's really built up and gotten alot more traffic, so parking is getting alot more tricky than it used to be a few years ago. I love the shopping and their LaTasca's is my favourite as far as ambiance goes.

Ah okies, well I'm living it up in the beauty that they call Bolton at the minute so we are probably pretty close me thinks. I do like Bury, but apart from working there I didn't do much exploring. It's a nice town centre though. My only other memories are of nights out at a club I believe was called Siberia....hmmm

yep - a Jap import - not a UK spec Sunny
its a bit different now - a lot dirtier, and a set of rally-style spotlights on the front (for seeing in the dark, not for posing)

Black motors are luverly when you have just spent hours polishing them but sadly, they don't stay that way. My truck is rather muddy at the mo having been to two agricultural shows that had experienced the equivalent of the great flood. Thank goodness for 4WD As for the Pulsar - small hatchback, big block = yippee ;D

Sounds brill ;D Sadly, practicality and five dogs has seen an end to the days of me having owt' sporty though I did ask the Ford dealer I met at the weekend if they were going to do a Focus RS Estate ;D I think they are gorgeous and I love me Fords.

Mine was cleaned to within an inch of it's life on Sunday because I had my Uncle's funeral to go to yesterday (funeral + black car = car cleaning) and half an hour later there was bird poo down the back window! Where are the cats when you need 'em?

My dad usually describes the interior of whatever I'm driving as 'a skip on wheels' ;D

Mine will have its annual clean next week before it heads off to Scotland for a weeks holiday! There will be a weight saving there with all the rubbish that can be removed.

Mine usually looks like a skip, especially when I fill the back with dead fence, then forget to take it to the tip and drive around with it for a day or two!
