Oh yes, she's known him from birth. I have always had pets that cost a lot. I figure they were sent to me because I will do the absolute most I can. Our whole family is like that. It's good that she has a friend taking care of her. I know our two wouldn't want anyone but our neighbors looking after them when we're gone. They've known them since we brought them home. I know how you feel about the heat, Mimi. It sucks!!! Such a cutie!! ;D

Her adorable good looks are seriously the only thing saving her. She's been REALLY WHINY the past few days. She loves her new food. The vet-required portion sizes....not so much. She's been quite mouthy and my lower legs are being used as a pincushion a lot more than usual. But she's so cute and she was jumping up for snuggles when I was upset over the stabbing news earlier....so she can stay.

My cat Valmont is running around like a wing nut! He has been doing it all morning and I haven't given him any cat nip today.

My neighbors dropped a carboard tray-box (it probably held cat food cans) into my patio, so I brought it inside. It can hold, at most, one cat. Both Ozzie and Harriet have been squabbling for it since I brought it in last night.
Strange how new stuff, or even old stuff in new places, can electrify a cat.

Here's my old man. The Dr. wanted me to prick his paws five times a day to check his blood levels for his diabetes. It was hell for both of us. I'm just going to continue with the dose he's been on for the last two years. If I inadvertently cause his death then it's for me to deal with. He is 15. Attachments:

Thank you - they are little terrors. The ginger one, 'Fussy, Pussy Willow' decided to go up the chimney on Friday! T'other one 'Pretty, Purdey, Puddycat' is just content to shred the wallpaper. Ah, I'd forgotten how amusing kits were!

Other feline owners...have you taken this quiz? This is important information to know, or at least to find amusing. Mimi scored 100%. I'm not too worried, she is just a cat, and I'm onto her! ;D

Thorin scored 83%. Hmmm... Maybe his more mild-mannered brother is talking him down? Last time I took this quiz Mimi scored 94%. I think it's the recent snuggling she's been trying out now. That pushed her up to 100%, she's now trying to take me off my guard. It will not work! Suzi, my mom's former sweet-as-pie friendliest kitty, EVER, scored a 60-something percent. The quiz is built to make your kitty homicidal. I find it hilarious though, and had a great time sending it to my friends who'd adopted their first cats. They needed to be warned. ;D On a side note, how come my cat's not this nice/concerned when I'm not sick? I swear, she puts the evil on hold whenever one of her humans isn't feeling well.

Our poor little Hamish runs and hides whenever MOH is sick. Granted it doesn't happen very often, but when he's under the weather, Hamish is under the bed. He feels such a strong attachment to MOH that he can't deal with the fact he doesn't feel well.
My cat, Thorin will cuddle with either of us if we don't feel well.

Aawh, looking at allt he new adorable cat photos in here made me miss my own furballs.. I haven't touched a single cat since I moved away from home a month ago I have a LOT of other animals to cuddle with though, but nothing's like a purring little kitty who sleeps in your lap We have a roe deer calf living at the bedsit house and sleeping in our coach, but it's not quite the same.. I'm really looking forward to get some time off to go home and see my cats again! ;D

As you may know, my dear old cat Merlin was put to sleep recently and of course I was heartbroken. A lovely friend of mine wanted to try to make things a little easier, and sent me a copy of 'Goodbye Mog' and a cuddly black cat with big yellow eyes. This was a really lovely gesture and made me cry, but in a good way - I really appreciated that someone wanted to mark what had happened. Anyway, the toy cat is very soft and cuddly, and I had it next to me on the sofa, which was fine... until someone decided to be very jealous... Guess who? Yes, Summer again. Special!Cat is special. I've seen her stalking my cuddly cat, I've seen her trying to bite it even though she has no teeth and this evening she tried to pull it off my shoulder. This silly cat is a green-eyed monster!

Any other cat servants have any idea why a cat would beg incessantly for meals and then just take a few bites and walk away? Mimi's not really eating, hasn't been for a few days now. And this is a cat who is on a diet and up until a few days ago LIVED to eat. She'd bolt her meal down within a minute or two. She's just as eager for mealtime, still goes and tries to eat, but just takes a couple bites then gives up. She seems active, pouncy, hasn't had her food changed. On the off-chance it's an impacted hairball, I bought some meds for that for her(will take a couple days to do the trick if that's the case). She's not really acting sick, but I am getting worried.

Perhaps Mimi has a sore tooth or a sore spot in her mouth that makes it difficult to chew.

You know that ad with the cats with the thumbs? I think our neighbour's cat Knuckles is preparing to take over the world... (yes, I know he's really just polydactyl, but he does look like he has thumbs ;D)
