I hated sprouts until I was given one that my Mum hadn't boiled to within an inch of its life! Now I like them but now I always have to cook the sprouts for Christmas Day, if we're at Mum & Dad's house, which mainly consists of repeatedly taking them off the stove...

Anyone have a recipe for chicken tikka masala? Tried looking around online but they're so different from one website to another I'd prefer one that's been tried and true.

I've never made it myself , hubby doesn't do Indian food , but my youngest daughter uses this recipe. www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/chicken-tikka-masala-recipe/index.htmlAnd 'The Food Network' does have some great recipes, I use them all the time.

I made a dish with eggplant years ago when my son was still living with me. I peeled an eggplant and told him it was potato. Needless to say he did not fall for it. I was trying to broaden his horizons on the food front.l'm a big Moussaka fan. I love curry and can't wait to eat some. My mother was an excellent cook as well as my older brother but neither one is around to cook. I've made chicken curry but it just wasn't the same. I'm looking forward to all the desserts I'm going to encounter in France, Switzerland and Belgium. I don't know that I've had a dessert from Holland.

I love Brussels sprouts. All you haters are probably eating them over cooked. I make mine sliced with brown butter and, if I remember to buy it, a little sage. Awesome.

Yes, Mayfayre, that's what I meant with the thing that I leave in the bowl, the unbaked liquid chocolate-ish thing what I eat and especially with boterkoek I often leave more in the bowl than I put in the oven. ;D ;D

Just had M&M's and self made iced coffee whilst watching TG ;D *waves at nat* Hey! I found stroopwafels at a store here! Made my fricking day. Ate the whole bag last night. ;D Also got tweeted three times last night by the stroopwafel bot. Checked out an Indian cookbook at the library today. So not currently eating anything but will probably be eating something cooked from this book later.

Oh yes, my brother and I love 'em, even though the taste of them arent as nice as our sprinkles, but I love the fact that they're harder than ours and they come in a nice box and they're good to cheer your food up ;D Vanilla custard with the chocolate sprinkles:
