have baked those yesterday. With fresh walnut that I found and cleaned myself here in the park. There's also coffee cream inside, yummy!

vivienne, same here! And the heart shaped thicker ones are sweeter than the ones Mayfayre sent me.
Mayfayre also sent me a Curly Wurly. Funny thing tho is that we have them as well, but it was good Mayfayre reminded me of that. ;D

I've just had raspberry instant Kisiel, which is an amazing hot jelly dessert from Poland. A friend came to stay for New Year and brought me a few packets in different flavours - I liked it so much that a few days later, a massive parcel of them in flavours I couldn't even begin to imagine appeared. They're slightly spiced fruit buns with a pastry cross piped on top. They're traditional for Good Friday. Can be eaten hot (toasted) or cold, but usually sliced in half & buttered. They don't need anything else but a couple of years ago we discovered that they taste really good with ham & Emmental as a filling!

Shavings?? I assume you mean sprinkles? I baked us pancakes today!! These ones were shavings as opposed to the first box of sprinkles that you sent. They are fantastic on my sourdough toast. Just had another slice this evening. ;D ;D

Oh, people like me, I suppose Bakers have three seasons - Soft Roll Season, Mince Pie/Stollen Season, and Hot Cross Bun Season ;D I'm not in there now, obs, but in my happy bakery workplace, Hot Cross Bun Season started on January 2nd this year ;D I'm currently chowing down on some Parma Violets. Mmmm. Could be a very late craving, I suppose, but I've been having about two tubes a day for the last couple of weeks. Poor TOH had to go far out of his way to find some to bring to the hospital when I ran out, as he didn't know which shop I'd been buying them from, and I couldn't remember the name of the road that the shop is on ;D

Drinking a very large and very full glass of an Oregon Gewurztraminer and making pizza. Before: The after pic will come... well... later. That is if the fog on my brain clears a bit. MOH's side of the pizza is the one with the green stuff on it. Mainly spinach and green pepper. ;D
